Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX sold the account to Midland credit Management for XXXX and now MCM has tried to force me to pay for the entire amount after the fact. MCM has threatened to sue me and called me over and over again until I changed my number and challenged the debt. They said they provided XXXX goods and services and have no contract for the debt to them by me and refused to give me a copy of the amount of actual cost for the account as they are trying to unjustly enrich themselves for a debt they bought for XXXX dollars. The debt that was bought was not actual debt I owe them and on XXXX they verified that the debt was not from or by them and they just bought it from capital XXXX and will sue me for collection of it

Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing it for months, but they have never responded to me for the high and predatory charges on my account, Midland refuses to send the documentation of this account that they bought that was disputed for the charges that exceed those allowed, they only send a Bill, I require the documentation original account of this account, including a complete breakdown of the account ( including applicable interest rates and APR ) and a complete record of all credits and payments attributed to this account. In addition, there are specific inaccuracies related to my credit report. I think the amount you declare and collect is wrong.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, the date in which I wrote and sent certified mail/letter to Midland Credit Management informing them that I am disputing their claim and requesting validation in which I am allowed to under the FDCPA. I requested validation of the debt they say I owe and requesting proof that I am indeed the party they are asking to pay the debt and to show proof of a contractual obligation binding on me to pay said debt to them. I did NOT request a validation of my address, or proof of address, but a request for validation made pursuant to 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) of the FDCPA. I requested that if the office was unable to provide the proper documentation as requested, then I will require 30 days to investigate the information and during such time that all collection activity must cease and desist. Informed Midland that if the office fails to respond to the validation request within 30 days from the date of their receipt, that all references to the account must be deleted and completely removed from my credit file and a copy of deletion request shall be sent to me immediately.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXXXXXX is reporting 2 account for XXXX XXXX opened back in XXXX XXXX. One account is open an a good status the second is charged off. After I pulled my credit report and found out.I contacted the credit Bureaus and I file a dispute requesting proof, evidence of why they open 2 account same day and validation of the debt, I did the claim over the phone and also by mail. I did contacted the community bank too, and after customer services pulled my info the told the charge off account was open with a different address they transfer me over to the fraud Department they listen my request and asked me to send a mail to formal start a dispute, I was also contacted to a Collection company who claim to own the account I request the same thing and the only send me a letter asking me to pay the debt, not one has been provide my request. Also if they sold the account to another company why they are reporting to my credit. How come 2 accounts was opened under my name same day and I was only aware about 1 account, even XXXX XXXX Retail Store confirmed that in their system show I have 1 account in good stand they are fail to provide any information. I am requesting proof of the 2 credit applications with validation of the debt and any documents relate to those 2 accounts or t hey need to delete the second account.
