Consumer Complaint: Hello, my name is XXXX XXXX, and I need your help in contacting this company. I tried to contact them to find out why someone had registered an account in my name. This is a serious matter, and I'm unhappy that it's now affecting my credit score. I do not authorize anyone to use my name, date of birth, or any other information as it violates Data Privacy. They need to identify out who opened the account in my name and simply transfer the information to that person. Please assist me in resolving this.

Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: Ive had a payment arrangement set up on my account for months now, which Ive been pretty much on top of. What I did not know was that my account was still reflecting in such a horrible state long after the arrangement has been made. The point of a payment arrangement is that its to get current, not a placeholder as it was explained to me. If Im paying to be put in the arrangement, the remaining past due amount is rolled into the back of the loan, giving a new amount due and my account is current. It was told to me when I originally set up the arrangement that with my amount owed it was going to be that amount due till it was paid off in 2 years. So I would have had negative reporting for that whole time??

Consumer Complaint: Upon receiving Military orders to XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Credit Acceptance said they do not allow the transfer of vehicles out of the country. I provided the orders and the vehicle was surrendered under these circumstances. While in XXXX, i was alerted by my security manager that my vehicle had been stolen. I contacted Credit Acceptance and learned that the vehicle was stolen from XXXX XXXX XXXX not me. Credit Acceptance continued indicating late payments on my credit report while the vehicle was stolen from there care and not mine. I addressed this issue with the company and was assured they would fix this. Over a year later, I go to purchase a home for my family and this is hindering me from moving forward. They insisted I fill out a dispute form and return. I refused due to this being an ongoing issue. My next step is this and then a lawyer seeing there are now damages. I will attempt to have this rectified through this agency.
