Consumer Complaint: I have sent convergent outsourcing multiple letters to fix errors on my credit report and to request information on an account they are reporting on my credit. On XX/XX/2022 I sent a letter asking them to validate the debt. I then followed to send another letter on XX/XX/2022 asking them to provide the day of first delinquency with the original creditor which I did not see anywhere in the response to this letter. I most recently sent a letter on XX/XX/2022 asking for additional documents but they said they didn't have to provide any more details regarding the account.

Consumer Complaint: IN A COMPLAINT REGISTERED WITH CFPB ON XXXX CASE # XXXX REGARDING XXXX COMMUNICATIONS AND CONVERGENT OUTSOURCING, INC, I STATED THAT THIS DEBT WAS NOT OWED ON MY BEHALF 9SEE ATTACHED LETTER ) AND DISPUTED THE DEBT AND I THOUGHT IT WAS ILLEGAL FOR THE 2 COMPANIES TO TRY AND COLLECT THE SAME DEBT. ON XX/XX/2022 COVERVERGENT OUTSOURCING STATED IN A RESPONSE TO THE CFPB CLAIM NUMBER XXXX ( ATTACHED ) THAT THEY NO LONGER WERE ATTEMPTING TO COLLECT THE DEBT. Consumer Complaint: This is XXXX XXXX XXXX, who is submitting this CFPB complaint myself, and to inform you that there is no third party involved in the process. I recently verified my latest credit report and I noticed that this account is reporting fraudulently on my credit report. I have been a victim of Identity Theft, my information was stolen and used to open this account without my permission or knowledge. The account XXXX XXXX ( Original Creditor : XXXX ) XXXX Balance Owed : {$690.00} was incurred due to fraudulent charges, which according to XXXX XXXX Zero Liability policy I am not liable. I DO NOT HAVE A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY. This account is trying to collect debt, which wad also listed on my credit report. I have requested several times for verification. This company will not furnish a signed authorization [ or proof of the procedures ], they just furnish a statement, which proves nothing. I asked to validate the numerous listings on my credit file and again all I receive is statements.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2017 i made a uniformed decision on XX/XX/2017 when I entered the mentioned consumer transaction. At the time I was not aware of the money or costs it will cost me personal, financially, physically, and mentally, to do business or extend my credit to this company. I didnt understand the meanings statedand it was not clear and conspicuous to me at the time. i have been attemping to urchase an assset but but because of this i am not able. I beleive because there is no evidence of a debt only these papers of some type of copied papers of statements the comapny continue to show and this allegd agreement. The agreement should be voided because I made a uniformed decision and didnt understand none of it. I could have made a better choice if I knew the details in full. Also i don't have any business dealings with company named Convergent, the attatched is not evidence of indebtedness. please delete from my report

Consumer Complaint: I have tried reaching out multiple times to XXXX and XXXX along with Convergent Outsource to get this situation fixed as they are reporting this account that I do not recall. Continues reporting inaccurate as this debt is not mine. XXXX stated over the phone that they couldnt do anything about this debt as it does not belong to them anymore. So I just kept trying to work it out with collection company nd bureaus. Reporting inaccurate date lest active. Reporting a balance of {$640.00} when account has been transferred. re-aging pushing back the data count should fall off. consecutive charge of as if it was some sort of payment method. I have asked for verification on debt any document that provides my signature stating debt belongs to me. I asked to provide a method of verification on and how and where they are getting information from because they continue to report incorrect. I have been answered with the statement bill on this account. this does not provide my signature and does not mean debt is mine. I have actually tried to offer a pay to delete on this debt not because I believe debt is mine. But, because I have tried multiple times to fix the situation. Account is hurting and holding me back from obtaining credit and I need it to get removed immediately. I offered a 60 % on the step as a settlement but I have not heard back on my offer.
