Consumer Complaint: I signed up with Coinbase and purchased some XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX via their website. Soon afterwards, I could n't access my account because the system required an additional " ID Verification '', which would not work. I tried contacting Coinbase through their website customer support, but only got automated responses weeks later, which did not resolve the issue. I tried other methods and finally got the verification cleared, but all my linked accounts were subsequently deleted from my Coinbase Account. When I tried to re-add them, I just got a message stating, " That bank account has already been added to your account. Please contact support to reinstate it. '' It 's been way over a month since I 've sent numerous requests via their online support, but received just one general response ( about a month after my first request ) that stated, " Thank you for contacting Coinbase Support. We sincerely apologize for not being able to provide you resolution in time. Since we are currently working on volume of inquiries. Truly appreciate your patience over the matter. Rest assure we will address your concern and provide you with the right resolution as well. If you are still experiencing this issue, simply reply to this email with screenshots of error messages or other relevant information that you think would help us solve and understand the issue, and we be happy to work on a resolution for you. If your issue has been resolved, no reply is needed. Again Thank you for your patience during this time and for your continued support while we improve our service. '' [ *Case # : XXXX. ] I can not sell and recover my investment, which is valued right now at {$10000.00}, and they do not respond, there is no phone number to call and speak to a physical customer representative, and my funds are being held hostage as there is no way I can recover my money as long as they do not reinstate my back accounts.

The company, Coinbase Inc has promised on their website and with email that the fund will be available within 1 business day same as any other wire transferred funds. But now they do n't even reply to my emails anymore. After promising to get the problem fixed.

Consumer Complaint: This problem is with Coinbase, LLC ( www.coinbase.com ) On XXXX XXXX , 2017 i trie d to transfer XXXX XXXX from my Vault on their system, the transaction was not working and was stuck in a " Approval needed status, so i cancelled the transaction and recieved a confirmation the transaction was cancelled, however the amount was still subtracted from my balance putting me into a negative balance situation. I Immediatly opened a case with coinbase support and have asked for updates daily since then with absolutely NO response from them and the account is still in a negitive balance situation. i Hereby request that the XXXX transaction be removed since it was cancelled and should not be showing on my account.

The company said they could not complete the wire, even though it originated from the same account linked to my Coinbase account. To resolve the issue, they said they would reverse the transfer and send it back to my bank account and that I should see it in three business days. The money never showed up. I would like the {$7000.00} returned to my bank account immediately.

Consumer Complaint: coinbase.com wo n't let me withdraw money I have sitting in my mobile wallet, despite having followed all of their instructions to have my bank account verified so that I can withdraw funds ; They also with very little signage only allow withdrawals in XXXX, when i sold my cryptocurrency i converted it to XXXX thinking i would be able to withdraw, they charged me a fee for this -- they are now going to charge another fee to convert it to XXXX so that i can withdraw ( or so they claim ), this is ridiculous! Despite having followed their instructions to the letter my bank account is still unverified and so they are not allowing me to withdraw my money that is sitting in the mobile wallet. No one from their support has returned my email, I dont expect that they will, their forum is FULL of people complaining about the same issue

I have accessed my account through two devices and after updating my password and attempting to log in on a different device, I was unable to access the account. The suggested solution was to contact customer service to send them my picture ID and proof that I live at the address on file, all of which I can do but I have not had a response from them in a week and I do need access to my account. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2017 at XXXX I initiated a transfer on Coinbase exchange of XXXX XXXX from my Coinbase Multi-syg vault to my Coinbase XXXX wallet. My intent was to transfer this amount to my XXXX Wallet and then transfer off the exchange prior to XX/XX/XXXX, in order to receive XXXX currency during the XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX. Coinbase previously sent instruction that if users wanted to obtain XXXX currency they would need to transfer money off the exchange as Coinbase was not supporting XXXX. Legally it is questionable whether Coinbase has the ability to even withhold XXXX. Common law dictates that products of an asset belong to the owner of the original asset. Furthermore, Coinbase, Inc has not explained what it plans to do with the valuable XXXX tokens it acquired following the hard fork. However due to Coinbases ' instruction, on XX/XX/XXXX, it led me to transfer the funds on two occasions from my Coinbase vault to my XXXX wallet using the protocol offered by them. However, on both occasions I received an error message when I clicked the approval button. In response, I decided to cancel the transfer the coin, while I obtained customer support ( I clearly stated in my customer support ticket on XX/XX/XXXX that my intent was to secure XXXX currency ). After canceling the transaction by selecting the cancel option I received a confirmation email to confirm the transaction was canceled. However, since that time my XXXX multi-syg vault and XXXX wallet both show {$0.00} balance and I have lost access to the XXXX XXXX funds. My account continues to show the transaction as waiting for approval yet provides no options. I have written numerous support tickets in an attempt to resolve the issue, that have not been responded to by Coinbase support. I attempted to use XXXX mult-syg tool in order to also obtain access to my multi-syg vault, using my public/private keys yet the tool was ineffective. I repeatedly wrote tickets to XXXX support for over 5 consecutive days yet have received no response other than an automated response acknowledging receipt of ticket. Due to Coinbase negligence and unresponsiveness I was unable to gain access to my funds prior to the XX/XX/XXXX XXXX and therefore unable to obtain my XXXX coins. It has caused me significant emotional stress and inability to utilize my funds. I still have not heard back from Customer Support.

Consumer Complaint: COINBASE IS COMMITTING A MASSIVE FRAUD and THEFT Coinbase.com is withholding hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin Cash ( BCC ) from their customers after Bitcoin underwent a hard fork on XX/XX/2017. They claim that they are simply not interacting with the chain, but that is not logical. This is hundreds of millions of dollars we are talking about, possibly even into the billions. Unfortunately like many of the businesses in silicon valley their level of ethics and integrity are questionable at best, illegal at worst. According to the company : https : //twitter.com/coinbase/status/XXXX We need the someone to step in and investigate what exactly is happening. Without committing my own overtly illegal action or spending a large amount of money to litigate, we, the public, are left at their mercy. It should be noted that other Bitcoin exchanges have credited their clients holding Bitcoin with their RIGHTFUL Bitcoin Cash. COINBASE IS COMMITTING A MASSIVE FRAUD and THEFT Regardless of the fact that these " crypocurrencies '' are possibly the next great Tulip Bubble in the making, people are being wronged and someone needs to step in. The best analogy would be a stock spinoff. Imagine if XXXX XXXX decided not to interact with a stock spinoff -- that would be a crime ; there is nothing different occurring here.
