Consumer Complaint: Coinbase is a online stock trading application, that evolves around etherum, lite coin, and bitcoin trading. I deposited about {$320.00} Onto the website to buy bitcoin currency. The currency once purchased, I withdrew to put the amount I earned into the companies holding account to deposit into my bank account. The amount on that account was a residual {$300.00}. So I have lost about {$17.00}. The amount I had for bitcoin was {$2.00}, etherum was {$.00}, and litecoin was {$.00}. I have emailed the company around 25 times within the past 2 months to return the valued currency to my bank account after 5 failed attempts of the company sending verification charges to my banks savings and checking accounts. The frustrating part was, each email sent was ignored, and every phone call they received from me, was immiedietely sent back to the prerecording message stating to further get in contact with them, submit a request and send them an email online. With the end of the second month of no reply, my account apparently glitched up and lost all the currency held upon it. I signed into the account, and it told me that it didnt recognize my device. So I changed the password to the account, reauthorized my phone with a sms code sent to my phone via text message, then it wanted me to repeat the process. That I did, and got a message stating to many login attempts. So I fell asleep, woke up the next day, and all the funds were gone. No funds in each currency, or even in the holding account. The main question I have, is if our funds are backed by the FDIC to fully show that our losses arent gone by just being in a holding account. Why is it that I couldnt fully withdraw all my funds from every currency, and withdraw all the funds from my holding account, and deposit into my bank, but some random reason all my currency disapears within 2 hours. Seems fishy that the company is probably holding my funds without me knowing of the location. If more information is needed, I can provide bank statements of the deposits, and that no money being sent to my account. I only use XXXX and bank. But my bank is still not authorized with their company.

Consumer Complaint: I initated two account deposits from my XXXX checking account to Coinbase. Both transactions one on XX/XX/XXXX for the amount of {$1000.00} and the second on XX/XX/XXXX for {$500.00} were completed by XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and fully funded to my account in Coinbase. When logging into Coinbase account funds show in a still pending state and unable to move money back. I have reached out to support numerous times and received no reply. This company is horrible, very misleading, and should no doubt be banned in the United States as this is no way to treat customers

Consumer Complaint: I have used coinbase for years now to hold some of my cryptocurrency investments, I have assets in both coinbase and XXXX, coinbases exchange, current value probally around {$25000.00}. Coinbase uses 2factor authorization for signing which is good, it is a safety measure. The problem is, I got a new phone and 2 factor authorization is not on my new phone. I tried for hours setting this up on XX/XX/XXXX, deleting and installing the app on my phone, trying to reset my account which led to the point of my account being suspended and locked and I need to contact support to reset everything. I have cases with coinbase and they are not unlocking my account. I have called 3 times after a 45 minute hold saying they dont have a timeframe to unlock my account. The representative says someone is working on it and typical time is 3 to 4 business days. It has been over a week now, they are not responding to emails and I just want my account unlocked. I use other exchanges and this did not happen, it was easy to update, coinbase makes it difficult and then they have no support to help when their are issues I also recently moved, so I have a new address and I am sure this is going to make this even more difficult to resolve and my next step is to just have a attorney collect my assets. It seems a little over board to get account reset.

The first link was a AD Link and i went on a clicked on it. As XXXX and Coinbase XXXX and have same user details. All the corresponding pages came as usual as login. 1 ) Coinbase OATH page for username and password 2 ) I entered the username and password next page was 2FA authentication enter the 2FA. 3 ) Got a message saying its taking longer time as XXXX servers are down. 4 ) Later got page saying first time login you have to authorize the page. Click here to access your account 5 ) i clicked the link and enter my email details later got error try after 24 hours. My account was spammed and hacked. I had XXXX XXXX coins and XXXX XXXX in coinbase and 4 XXXX coins in XXXX. and My bank account was linked to coinbase. Hacker took XXXX worth XXXX $ and has transfer to unknown account. I reported this issue to coinbase with in two hours. I would have done much earlier but wait time was more for coinbase support. The support team said they will investigate but till now i have n't seen any response and even my coinbase account is locked and have called many times still no response. Informed XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX that the transaction is not authorized and requested for a claim as my debit card has XXXX $ liability.but they came back saying the transaction is legal as i have done this transaction earlier. Have reopened a case and have send all the attachments.

Consumer Complaint: Coinbase.com provided special access keys after I deposited funds. The ID, XXXX, and " Secret Seed '' provided by Coinbase do not work and I 'm locked out of my account. Coinbase has a phone number that never gets answered even after hours on hold. They auto drop many calls. The email support is almost non existent and takes a week or longer to get a reply that does not fix anything. I 've have been trying for many weeks to get any support from them but it is impossible.

Consumer Complaint: I made an small investment, around {$150.00}, into bitcoin through the wallet application know as Coinbase. I was allowed to add my bank no problem, be charged for my transaction but am constantly being refused ID verification, with an error message reading that I do n't have enough presence in public data. I have a valid ID, a Valid bank account with which i invested already but dont have enough presence to be given the same treatment as someone else verifying their ID. I would like to have free range on my investment and not be locked in to a system that only allows me to invest but not profit.
