Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/22, I inadvertently paid {$1800.00} to The Home Depot via my online banking bill pay system. The payment should have gone to XXXX ( my mortgage company ). I discovered my error within days. Since that time, I have spent upwards of 15 hours on the telephone with various Home Depot payment escalations teams, managers, supervisors and also directly with CitiBank ( who services their credit line ). Because my Home Depot credit card was 'cancelled ' several years ago due to non-use, everyone is struggling to locate my payment. I involved my bank, Associated Bank, who faxed a letter ( at CitiBanks 's request ) to their payment research team at XXXX. They claim they did not get the fax. On XX/XX/22, I was told to obtain proof of payment from my bank. I did this. I provided my ( now closed ) account number, the payee routing number and last 4 digits of their account number. I also provided the credit trace number and file trace number to help them locate my payment. This, too, did not help them. On XX/XX/22, I filed a formal payment error claim with my bank. This is extremely frustrating to not get any help from Home Depot or CitiBank. It has been close to 7 weeks. If they received payment referencing an account number that has been closed for years, I should have received a check in the mail by now ( many people I have talked to at both Home Depot and CitiBank have said this as well ). Nothing! My CLOSED account number with Home Depot is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX : XXXX Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX we left two deposits for a cruise on XXXX XXXX on our mastercard. The company went out of business and in XX/XX/XXXX we recieved one refund for {$4200.00}. The other deposit for {$4300.00} Has not been refunded. I have talked to many representitives from Citibank and each time they say it will be resoloved in 7-10 days.I called on XX/XX/XXXX and talked to XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX time they said that it was being worked on. On XX/XX/XXXX I recieved a letter from the " customer service team '' That they are continuing to work on the claim. Its now XX/XX/XXXX and I still have no resolution. Are they going to pay or not. If not I need a letter stating why they are not paying the claim.

Consumer Complaint: I continue to ask both the credit agency and the furnisher, to please provide me with verification of the debt in question, because I have an adult son with the same exact name. XXXX continues to put addresses that I have not lived at, but my son has on my credit profile. When I have reached out to both about not only the method or verification, but also some kind of proof. They both just send me letters saying it has been verified. I sent these same issues to XXXX and they have all been removed. XXXX and XXXX continue to play these games saying its been verified or they update it with even more wrong information. I have attached screen shots from both credit bureaus of the accounts in question, and Im asking for physical proof to not only be sent to me, but also a copy sent to the CFPB as well. I want all these negative accounts that have no proof of belonging to me removed from ALL my credit reports.
