Under 15 USC 1681 section 604A section 2 states consumer reporting agency cant furnish an account without my written instructions. The United States Code Law 15 U.S. Code 1666b. Timing of Payments- A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. Consumer Complaint: I contacted this company for validation of the account and debt they have inaccurately reported to my credit profile. I have found *several* contradicting information on my report that further prove my suspicion of this account being fraudulent and NOT MINE. Attached is proof of the credit report with misinformation differing across the three credit bureaus. I kindly request this item to be removed completely, never to be added back again. I understand that the Fair Credit Reporting Act regulates credit bureaus and collection agencies to ensure proper and accurate reporting for all consumers. In this case, I have not been treated fairly as the reported accounts are continuing to show -- with mismatch information especially. I have contacted Capital One on several occasions regarding the COMPLETE REMOVAL of this account. I called them, and they can't even verify me in their system. How is this account allowed to report to my credit report and negatively affect my credit and personal life when this company can't even verify that I'm an actual customer with them? To add -- I've never even considered using Capital One. I've never received a single piece of mail to my home from Capital One. This account needs to be removed IMMEDIATELY. IT IS HURTING MY PERSONAL LIFE.

Instead, Capital One reversed and rejected the payments on XX/XX/2023 even though the Capital One representative confirmed that the funds would be available by the 3rd business day. XX/XX/2023 : I attempted to make another payment for {$1000.00} from my personal checking to the credit card because Capital One informed me that funds would be available but on XX/XX/2023, the transaction was reversed and rejected again. XX/XX/2023 : I received a letter in the mail from Capital One credit card department who informed me that they are force closing my accounts.

Consumer Complaint: This is XXXX intertwined issues. On XX/XX/22 i attempted to purchase a large item from XXXX ( where I used to live ) And I went over limit. I went back to pay off my balance, as Id been intending to and thought Id already done it. I opened the app. And on the app my Capital One card said this account has been restricted I was Surprised/thinking they must not have as sophisticated a system as, eg XXXX which sends me texts, etc when it thinks a purchase is fraudulent and asks if you are indeed the one making the transaction. ( Ie I guessed that they thought it was fraudulent because it was through a XXXX store ). But Capital One never got in touch. I thought it was strange. But I went ahead and paid off the balance as Id been intending ( the balance was from a major surgey ). And figured itd be back to normal in no time. And Several days later, Id had no contact from them and it still said the account restricted. So I called and was told : that they cant tell me anything about it. Not about why. Not about what happened. Not about whats being done right now. Nothing. Ive had a bank account with Capital One 360 checking account for years ( around a decade ) but only recently opened a credit card. Several days later, I posted on XXXX to capital One, asking if this behavior was normal/could someone please speak to me about it. I am, after all, a XXXX. And XXXX is a useful tool. ( And if something happens to me, I know usually its happening to others. ) That was XXXX days ago. Today, I went on to my app. Which normally shows XXXX accounts, the checking account with $ XXXX ( literally all of my money ) and the credit card account which Id paid off. And today, the checking account has simply disappeared. I logged onto my computer thinking maybe it was a mobile glitch. And it wasnt there. Ive never overdrafted. I dont ever use checks, so Ive never bounced a check. Was there identity theft? I have zero information. And at the moment Capital One has taken all of my money.

Consumer Complaint: Last year in XXXX I got my statement adding an extra XXXX on my credit card. My Credit limit was XXXX. I already used about XXXX on the card it went from XXXX to XXXX. The moment I saw this I called Capital One letting them know that it was not my charges and this was a fraudulent action. I talked to them for over an hour and they refused to investigated. They told me that they put it on my bank account. I offered to show all my bank statements showing that I was never giving XXXX and they say no. That I would have to pay regardless and they will not looked into it. Now its over 23k and thats including interest accumulated over time. I was willing to pay the XXXX that o owed but now. Im exhausted of this and I sent them a letter to show proof that it was my doing and to validate my charges and they sent XXXX letters saying that they will not do that. This is been going for A year now and its exhausting to deal with this and Im extremely upset that. When I called them a year ago they could have fixed this but they didnt even bother doing one thing about it.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I received 3 emails saying my order was being processed and shipped. I immediately logged into the website of XXXX and pulled up my account. I saw that there were 3 separate charges going to 3 separate addresses in the 3 different states. None of these charge were mine so I called them but they were closed of course because it was XXXX. I called the next day and disputed all 3 charges and they credited my account on XX/XX/XXXX. A couple of weeks later they said they found 2 of the 3 charges were mine so they aded them back to my account on XX/XX/XXXX. I again called them and spent hours on the phone getting transfer to several people and they agreed to reverse theses 2 charges again and credited my account on XX/XX/XXXX. I thought we were all good until today and had an auto pay get scheduled which I thought was odd since I have not used the card so I pulled the online statement and I see that 1 of the charges has once again been added back to my account on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$210.00}. Below is the transaction currently in question and it is clearly not me and I know of no one in this area and I did not make this purchase. I hope the other 2 charges do not resurface but will amend this complaint if they do. Credit card was reissued and have had no problem since except within their own office treating a customer this way. Consumer Complaint: Back in XX/XX/2022 the company My BJs Perks World Mastercard though Comenity Capital Bank. Had some issue with an update their company did and I had some fraud charges on my account. Also Because of the update they were not able to send me a replacement card. Eventually I got the fraudulent charges fixed and asked them to fix my credit report but that did not happen then around XXXX they were completely taken off my credit report which hurt my score over XXXX points. I tried to apply for a new card and got denied because It showed I still had credit with them which I still have not received a new card. They hurt my credit and caused a lot of stress.
