Consumer Complaint: I opened a SECURED Capital One credit card in XXXX. The representative gave me inaccurate information. She advised me, that I could add {$300.00} more to increase the credit limit to {$500.00}, but DID NOT mention, that I should not make any purchases until I added the money. Unfortunately, her inaccuracy resulted in a less than desirable credit limit. Initially, I was advised, that I could request an increase in ninety days ; which wasnt the case. I spoke with the supervisor XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XX/XX/XXXX regarding the injustice, and increasing my credit limit. Plus, I spoke with other Capital One supervisors regarding increasing my credit limit.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 my XXXX XXXX XXXX was charged for {$89.00} from a merchant we do not know and for a charge we did not incur. The charge was generated from the merchant using the XXXX XXXX on their XXXX. Since the charge is listed as contactless the XXXX XXXX fraud department refuses to investigate. We talked with a XXXX representative who said the charge looked suspicious and suspended the merchants account. However they said Capital One is responsible for contacting them to resolve the charge which Capital One refuses to do. We were able to obtain a receipt on this charge on the XXXX website. The company was listed as XXXX whose address is on the third floor of an apartment building in XXXX XXXX XXXX. The receipt was in XXXX. No services were listed. It only stated a custom charge of XXXX. The receipt stated the charge occurred at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/23. We were at our residence in XXXX XXXX at that time, no where near XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. We do not know where this merchant obtained our credit card information and are receiving no assistance from Capital One to investigate this fraud. Please assist us with getting Capital One to investigate. If this fraud is happening to us Im sure its happening to many others and it needs to be stopped. Thank you.
