Consumer Complaint: I am writing this in response to a recent communication received from Capital One, dated XX/XX/XXXX, which claims that I owe a debt to them that has allegedly been sold to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I dispute the validity of this debt and assert my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). I have been consistently making payments towards the alleged debt, as per my records and bank statements, directly to XXXX XXXX XXXX, pursuant to a payment arrangement established on XX/XX/XXXX. This arrangement was made with XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I have diligently upheld my payment obligations in good faith. Per the FDCPA, Section 809 ( b ), I request that you provide me with a written validation of this alleged debt. This validation should include the amount claimed, the name of the original creditor, and any relevant documentation that supports your claim. Until such validation is provided, I request that all collection activities, including reporting this debt to credit bureaus, be immediately halted. Furthermore, I also demand that the entry of this debt on my credit report be removed in compliance with the FCRA, Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ). As per this section, information that has been reported inaccurately or can not be verified must be removed from the credit report. Since Capital One claims that I owe the debt to them, it indicates an inconsistency in the reporting and raises questions about the accuracy of the information.

It was from XXXX XXXX and the amount was {$2100.00} I had my first baby on XX/XX/XXXX and suffered from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and XXXX I didnt try to dispute the charge until XXXX of this year after realizing the charge was there, and the interest and fees were killing me. I told capital one about the issue was very honest on who used the credit card, my sons father XXXX XXXX XXXX. They told me to file a police report and go that route with it. I did and still not enough evidence to pursue any further investigation. XXXX XXXX and I met in XX/XX/XXXX, since then I have accumulated more debt than ever before and my credit score has deteriorated. I know for a fact he always had pictures of all my information including credit cards, debit cards, drivers license and maybe even my SSC. I am trying to pay off my debts the best way I can as quickly as I can, however it seems to only get worse. XXXX XXXX XXXX has taken over XXXX from women that I personally know of. I am one of them. XXXX XXXX was another, and XXXX XXXX being the last victim before me. His parents paid XXXX and XXXX XXXX off cash. So no legal action has ever been taken against him.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23, I made a payment for {XXXX with my fiance 's bank account towards my car payment. It was processed on XX/XX/23. On XX/XX/23. On XX/XX/23, he didn't recognize the transaction and disputed a transaction for the payment amount, not realizing it was for the payment. He realized the mistake and cancelled the dispute on the same day. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX ( his bank ) took back the money but never recieved any money for this transaction, and essentially the money dissapeared. Additionally, On XX/XX/23, my bankruptcy case was filed with the court and a capital one representative could not be reached due to pending bankruptcy, instead a got redirected to XXXX ( the company holding my account due to bankruptcy ). A week later, I called to request an explanation if the payment would be reprocessed and the XXXX representative stated that it would not. On XX/XX/23, I called once again inquiring about the money and to get a copy of my payment history. I have tried resolving this issue with Captial OneXXXX and they refuse to cooperate.

Consumer Complaint: I had a XXXX card Mastercard. I canceled it in person years ago. Apparently they didn't cancel it and the money for auto renew kept being taken from my account and I didn't notice as it was only XXXX a year. The original bank that held the card got bought out by capital one. They activated a new line of credit without my approval. This has damaged my credit as they also charged a new bjs membership and it went deliquent. When we tried to explain and requested they take the deliquent reporting off they said they may do something after 90 days. This puts me in jeopardy of not getting a good loan on a roof replacement caused directly by them when I have no other derogatory remarks on my credit history. It took them over an hour to even accept it might be a fraudulent zombie account. They kept stating it isn't fraud because I agreed to a Mastercard in XXXX. The original card expired in XXXX and I have never seen any other card.
