Consumer Complaint: Kohls continues to report my account 30 days past due. Recently, my account was reported 30 days late for XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023. First, XX/XX/2023 payment is not due until XX/XX/2023, today is XX/XX/2023 so the XX/XX/2023 payment is not due at this time, however Kohls has reported it 30 days past due to credit agencies. Further, XX/XX/2023 payment was made on XX/XX/2023 one day before being 30 days past due. I have also attempted to make my payments online and Kohls blocks my account for online access where I can't pay my bill. I have these calls recorded where reps tell me I can't make my payment online due to the balance being past due. Reps have claimed they would put a ticket in to fix this ongoing issue, but it continues to happen. I am also told by reps that if I have a past due balance and a current balance they will report me 30 days past due even if the past due balance is paid before the 30 day mark of being past due. I have bank statements and print outs of my bills to show Kohls is continuing to report inaccurately on my credit report. I am asking that 30 day past due reporting for XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023 is removed as it causes material harm to my credit. My credit score has now dropped over 50 points due to Kohls ' inaccurate reporting.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, Capital One opened three checking accounts, and three 'performance savings ' accounts. Each was opened with more than {$1.00} but less than {$2.00}. I did not open them, and have never done business with Capital One. All accounts were XXXX out between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I have a freeze on my credit ; I did not even know this was possible.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Consumer Complaint: I was approved for a new Venture credit card from Capital One on XX/XX/2023. The physical card was shipped to me on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX was no tracking link provided for this. I waited to receive the card, but in the meantime I was able to use the credit card via a Virtual credit card number provided to me within the CapitalOne mobile app. On XX/XX/2023 I noticed in my app that my physical card showed as activated. I immediately went to recheck my mailbox and the surrounding area but not see any card. I also noticed a suspicious transaction of {$280.00} on my account to the merchant : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Capital One customer service informed me that this was an ATM transaction - cash advance - and XXXX XXXX shows this location in XXXX XXXX, CA ). I was worried and proceeded to call the Capital One customer service line at XXXX on XX/XX/2023 to report the missing card and fraudulent transaction. The customer service representative told me that the transaction was done at an ATM at XXXX Pacific Time and that my card was activated via their IVR service. The card was blocked but Capital One has denied my fraud claim and I have lost the transaction amount plus interest and a cash advance fee as a result. I have since called Capital One several times to get support on this issue and have spent easily over 1-1.5 hours on the call with their team. I have been unable to appeal my decision or get any insight into - what phone number was used to activate my card- and how they came to their decision in my case. Their customer service team has been the height of unprofessionalism in all my engagements with credit card companies. They keep transferring me from person to person and no one takes responsibility to provide support in my case. I have reported my case with the FTC but am at a loss on how to get my money back from this situation. I also maintain an HYSA account with Capital One, and have a strong credit report but they seem to not value that in their determination at all. 1. They did not provide a tracking link for their physical card delivery 2. They allowed a third party using a phone number unrelated to my account, to activate my credit card 3. I have claimed responsibility for all other ( much larger ) transactions on the card, made with the virtual card number- and have only pointed out the cash advance which was done fraudulently and is a type of transaction I was not even aware of 4. They have caused me stress, mental strain and wasted hours of my time without providing adequate service and details on this issue, and refusing to even let me appeal it. I am on hold since 20+ minutes right now and no support.

Consumer Complaint: In about XX/XX/XXXX I applied for a BJs Credit Card and was granted a Master Card in the amount of {$1500.00}. I received a bill in the mail for {$35.00} placed on my MasterCard for the renewal of my BJs membership. At the time when I received the bill, I knew it was an ERROR because I had not ACTIVATED this credit card AND had not AUTHORIZED any purchases. I immediately contacted BJs and explained to them that a {$35.00} charge was placed on my MasterCard that I did not AUTHORIZE. I asked if the charges could be removed because I did not make them. The young lady stated she would REMOVE THE CHARGES immediately. That was not done as promised! A month later I received a bill from BJs stating I owed the {$35.00} plus a late fee of {$16.00} which totaled my bill to {$51.00}. Again, I got on the phone and contacted XXXX Capital Bank to resolve the issue. Again, I was assured that the {$51.00} would be removed from my account. That was not done as promised! I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, stating Ownership of your BJs Perks Plus MasterCard account has been transferred from XXXX XXXX Bank to Capital One, N.A. and is now called a BJs One Mastercard. As part of that transfer, were reaching out about an important change to your account. Capital One gave me a new account number. I contacted Capital One and explained what happened and asked for the charges to be removed from my account. The young lady at Capital One stated she would contact the three credit bureaus to have the information wiped/removed from my file. That did not happen. I have been blatantly getting the run around for the longest time and everyone I have spoken with regarding getting this matter resolved- They have FAILED me. When I applied for a Home Mortgage Loan my credit score had dropped significantly due to this infraction. I am totally devastated because this gives LENDERS the impression that I am NOT capable of paying my bills in a timely fashion, which is NOT true.

Consumer Complaint: I requested and received a balance transfer on my Capital One Visa card in XXXX, 2022. It was for 1 year 0 % interest. Unlike other credit card companies, such as XXXX, XXXX, etc, This company does not show the date of the end of the promotion period on their statements, I feel this is an attempt to have you forget that on a certain date, you will be paying interest. This happened to me this month, and I now owe an additional {$300.00} in interest. I called and spoke with a manager but was told I was out of luck. I am now paying the card off, but I would have paid it off last month had it shown or reminded me on the statement that my promotion period was up. I feel this is intentionally done in hopes you will not realize that your interest free period is up. Unless you remember when it is, you will get hit with the interest because there is never anything in writing regarding the end date except for when you sign up, long ago. They should be required to show the expiration date of the promotion on their statements!
