Consumer Complaint: I had a reoccurring charge with XXXX. I lost my credit card and Comenity bank issued me a new card with a new number in XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I was charged $ XXXX> I did not give my new number to XX/XX/XXXX but Comenity bank did> I did not give them permission to give my number to anyone. They told me it is their policy to give my number to companies that I have reoccurring charges. I don '' t think they should have the right to give my credit card number to anyone without my permission regardless of previous transactions. I thought the credit card companies were supposed to protect me not the venders.

Consumer Complaint: I made a purchase on XX/XX/20 for {$16.00} using my Comenity credit card. A few days later I attempted to create an account online so that I could pay the balance. The website did not work so I used the automated phone service to establish my account and pay the balance. It appeared everything was fine. A week or so later I find out Comenity charged me an additional {$18.00}. They say I did not provide the correct routing numbet and/or account number from which I paid the balance so they are charging me the penalty of {$18.00}. I did not provide incorrect information. I asked Comenity to provide me the routing number and account number I provided them hen paying my bill and they REFUSE to provide thst information. I refuse to pay an {$18.00} penalty fee when they refuse to provide proof that I SUPPOSEDLY entered incorrect information. I have approx 7 pages of email exchanges I've had with Comenity.

The error which prompted this credit report dispute includes late payment on XX/XX/2016, COMENITY BANK/XXXX. I am kindly requesting COMENITY BANK/XXXX to remove this late payment from my credit reports. Doing so would sincerely be appreciated and represent an invaluable gift to my family and me.

In fact, yesterday, I received a NEW XXXX card in the mail. So, first I want to know why this information is on my XXXX account ( I want it taken off ) and second, if my payments made to XXXX were SO bad, then why did XXXX send me a NEW credit card. This just does not make logical sense.

Consumer Complaint: I had a credit card through Victoria Secrets and they closed my account without my knowledge. And I was updated on my payment when they closed the account. I only owed XXXX out of a XXXX balance. And I was not told what or why it was closed. I got this card to help with my credit do to we are going to try to buy a house in XXXX.And I really don't think this should be on my credit I didn't close it .They let me spend money on it one more time then sent me a new platinum card and then I tried to use it and they said the account was closed. I called them to see what the problem was and they said they closed the account. I said why she said they would send me a letter .That I never received so I am disputing this on my credit. I no longer have the card so I don't have the card information the last four digits of my account is XXXX exp date is XX/XX/XXXX and it was closed on XX/XX/XXXX with a balance of XXXX and bought things the week before this. So I just think that it would only be the right thing to do is to take it off my credit..
