I XXXX XXXX applied for XXXX XXXX XXXX/Comenity Capital Bank on XX/XX/2021, as you view the attached letter dated XX/XX/2021 Comenity Capital Bank was unable to continue processing my application until I contact them directly to verify information. Upon receiving the letter, I contacted Comenity Capital Bank on XX/XX/2021, to the best of my recollection, I was asked the following question : full name, date of birth date, social security number, home address which I provided via phone. On that note I received a second letter from Comenity Capital Bank dated XX/XX/2021, which states Comenity Capital Bank was unable to approve application for XXXX XXXX XXXX reason : Comenity Capital Bank was unable to verify my identity using ( XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2021, I filed a dispute with XXXX online asking for removal of the hard inquiry XXXX XXXX XXXX Comenity Capital Bank due to inaccurate information being reported via XXXX to Comenity Capital Bank XXXX Completed dispute ( XXXX XXXX Confirmation Number : ( XXXX ). According to XXXX I would have to contact Comenity Capital Bank to remove the hard inquiry. After contacting Comenity Capital Bank on XX/XX/2021, to remove the hard inquiry representative stated I failed the security question ( s ) on XX/XX/2021, to the best of my recollection I provided my full name, date of birth, social security number, and home address. Apparently, XXXX has inaccurate information on my credit report which serves as the basis for obtaining credit card decision, so it is conceivable that inaccurate data led to me being mistakenly declined and I truly believe human error occurred on behalf of Comenity Capital Bank while verifying my identifying via phone on XX/XX/2021. Consumer Complaint: Well I use to have a XXXX XXXX card however the company closed. However about an year and a half ago I go really behind so I set up a payment arrangement through the company where they would take out so such money from my account which they did for a whole year tell my account was at XXXX. The payments were to be removed by ACH. With the company closing I tried to utilize the XXXX dollar balance that was available however all the stores had close 3 days before what was weird is I had an available line of credit of XXXX at that time I owed nothing then Comedity bank started calling threatening me that I owed them money nevertheless the had been taken money out of my account by ACH every month. It's not my fault that they failed to uphold the negotiated arrangements. This has had an adverse impact on my credit I have called them and spoke to them about this matter several times but they have been very unprofessional and refused to look into fixing there own mistakes. It is very unfair because you can't actually log on to the XXXX XXXX app. That would verify the amounts but there is a break down prior to the company closing and the bank that finances there credit cards.

Consumer Complaint: I was shocked when reviewing my credit report and found late payments on the dates below : 120 days late in XXXX XXXX 90 days late as of XXXX XXXX 60 days late as of XXXX XXXX 30 days late as of XX/XX/2018 Prior to when they began reporting me late I paid off the account in full. A few months later I checked my credit report and saw they were reporting me late. I contacted Comenity Bank to resolve this issue and they told me they could not locate my account.

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX Data breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I contacted the Credit Bureau and told me to file an Identity Theft Report which I am doing. Consumer Complaint: I asked the company to give me a payoff quote ( without interest ). I was told that I am not paying interest. Also, there is no grace period on the payment due which automatically charges a late fee of {$40.00}. I asked to change the due date and was told that I would have to process an ACH on the due date ( which could cause me an NSF Fee ) in order to change my due date. They have received 6 late fees total plus interest. The rep says that a machine answers the phone and it is possible that i won't speak with a representative and will be on hold or hung up on. Or I will get put back into the que.

They lowered my credit limit on my XXXX card as to make me over the limit immediately due to late payments without notifying me via call, email or mail. being over the limit affects my credit score. In XX/XX/2021 I was behind, they have made a few phone calls in XX/XX/2021, I got caught up. XX/XX/2021 I had not yet made a payment. On XX/XX/2021 This creditor called my before XXXX XXXX and left me a voicemail as well Obviously contacting anyone regarding a debt before XXXX XXXX is illegal. I refuse to be harassed by this company because they can't follow the law. Then they punitively punish me because I'm behind on ONE card and my other has a PERFECT payment history and they closed it anyway and drop my limit as to insure I'm over the limit on the open account. In what world is this acceptable and ethical? I will not have my peace disturbed before XXXX XXXX. My Payment is due the XXXX and these people call me illegally on the XXXX before XXXX its predatory, its harassing, its unacceptable.
