Consumer Complaint: I contacted Express ( XXXX Bank ) in regards to me having to temporary deploy late XXXX of XXXX. I submitted XXXX XXXX over showing that I was out of country. I asking due to XXXX Sailors Act could they honor the late payments due to me not having access to pay the interest that occurred on the account. I received a denial for that. On XXXX of XXXX I was diagnosed with XXXX. I submitted documents stating that due to being hospitalized I could not make payment. They still placed a late payment to my account and told me unfortunately they could not waive the late annotation on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Sir or Madam, 1. CBXXXX Account Number:XXXX Please correct this inaccurate information on my credit report. I recently pulled my credit report from your Bureau and my attorneys and I had a chance to go over my credit report and in amazement, that you have decided to report me 120 days late on this account in XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately disputed this information with XXXX and XXXX results of the investigation came back " verified ''. Not only was I never late on this account, but according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), the information furnisher is required to notify me of the insertion of negative listings. Since I have disputed the lates with the creditor, and you obviously " verified '' them, I am very curious as to what kinds of " records '' you may have for this alleged account. I am very confident that you are in violation of the ( FCRA ) and ( FCBA ) sections ( 1666, 1666a. 1666b., and 1666c. ) as stated below : 1666. Correction of billing errors ( b ) Billing error ( 4 ) The creditor 's failure to reflect properly on a statement, a payment made by the obligor or a credit issued to the obligor. ( 5 ) A computation error or similar error of an accounting nature of the creditor on a statement. ( 6 ) Failure to transmit the statement required under section 1637 ( b ) of this title to the last address of the obligor which has been disclosed to the creditor, unless that address was furnished less than twenty days before the end of the billing cycle for which the statement is required. ( 7 ) Any other error described in regulations of the Bureau. 1666a. Regulation of credit reports ( a ) Reports by creditor on obligor 's failure to pay amount regarded as billing error After receiving a notice from an obligor as provided in section 1666 ( a ) of this title, a creditor or his agent may not directly or indirectly threaten to report to any person adversely on the obligor 's credit rating or credit standing because of the obligor 's failure to pay the amount indicated by the obligor under section 1666 ( a ) ( 2 ) of this title, and such amount may not be reported as delinquent to any third party until the creditor has met the requirements of section 1666 of this title and has allowed the obligor the same number of days ( not less than ten ) thereafter to make payment as is provided under the credit agreement with the obligor for the payment of undisputed amounts. ( b ) Reports by creditor on delinquent amounts in dispute ; notification of obligor of parties notified of delinquency If a creditor receives a further written notice from an obligor that an amount is still in dispute within the time allowed for payment under subsection ( a ) of this section, a creditor may not report to any third party that the amount of the obligor is delinquent because the obligor has failed to pay an amount which he has indicated under section 1666 ( a ) ( 2 ) of this title, unless the creditor also reports that the amount is in dispute and, at the same time, notifies the obligor of the name and address of each party to whom the creditor is reporting information concerning the delinquency. ( c ) Reports by creditor of subsequent resolution of delinquent amounts A creditor shall report any subsequent resolution of any delinquencies reported pursuant to subsection ( b ) to the parties to whom such delinquencies were initially reported. 1666b. Timing of payments ( a ) Time to make payments A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose, unless the creditor has adopted reasonable procedures designed to ensure that each periodic statement including the information required by section 1637 ( b ) of this title is mailed or delivered to the consumer not later than 21 days before the payment due date. Because I take my credit very seriously, I contacted every name and account that was listed on the report. I was again very shocked by the multiple names, account numbers and figures. Included with this letter, is every letter written to those who have hampered my ability to obtain credit. I believe that any judge that looks over the report would agree that it is a violation of both the FCRA, CCPA and FACTA. The following accounts were listed on your report and I have demanded from them a full accounting and five years worth of records to see if their accounts were in violation of the FAIR CREDIT BILLING ACT ( FCBA ). We also demanded signed contracts, agreements or any legal paperwork that would tie us to the following accounts. Under the FCRA, you are required to conduct an investigation on this account if I request it. I DEMAND to see all 100 % verifiable proof that I was indeed Verifiably late on these accounts and the creditor fulfilled its obligations under ( FCBA 1666 ( a ) ( 2 ) ), As I was never notified of a billing delinquency on my accounts, which the creditor must do under section ( FCBA1666 ( b ) ( 6 ). I DEMAND to see proof that I was mailed my statement to the correct address notifying me of both payment due date and delinquency of payment on the account. If you can not provide 100 % Verifiable proof and proper documentation that the CREDITOR fulfilled its obligations under the ( FCBA ) and ( FCRA ), I therefore demand these late payments be removed from my account or I will be forced to be in contact with the Attorney General of my State and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I therefore am submitting my written request to you to conduct an investigation. Per the FCRA, you have 30 days to conduct this investigation and respond to my request. If you do not respond within this time period, per the FCRA, you must remove this negative information. Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I mailed a {$1600.00} ( title agency ) check to comenity bank to pay off my XXXX XXXX account. At that time I wasnt aware that XXXX had switched from comenity to XXXX XXXX. When I realized that XXXX had switch companies I called comenity immediately to let them know what happened. Comenity reassured me that when they received the money they would immediately forward it to XXXX XXXX. I kept checking the status with both companies. Both companies told me they neither of them have received the money. I then reached out to the title company to see if the check had cleared yet. The title company that issued the check said yes, that the check was cashed by Comenity bank on XXXX and sent me a copy of the cleared check. I called comenity and they said they never received the money but if they did it would have been sent over to XXXX XXXX and that I should check with them ( XXXX XXXX ) I have called and checked with XXXX XXXX and they dont show any record of comenity forwarding the money to them. I keep calling and reaching out to both companies and no one know where the {$1600.00}. I have been told by both companies that neither of them have the money.

Consumer Complaint: There are numerous inquiries on my account affecting my credit score. XXXX XXXX XXXX did not contact me until after they placed a balance of {$690.00} on my report. The balance has changed twice from what I can see. My place is also the same I dont recall being contacted! My XXXX XXXX credit card was recently closed because of a payment not going through and instead of contacting me to resolve the issue my account was closed. I contacted them a day later to fix the issue and I was told my account was closed due to fraudulent activity. I checked all information on the account to see if anything was fraudulent and everything was up to date. Now they are saying that I have to pay them back. I have no problem doing that but i would like it off of my score! There are also credit checks on my report that have not had a positive affect on my score. I have not been emailed or called about either.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity/Zales has on my credit report a debt that is not owed. I purchased merchandise XX/XX/2017 and paid CASH. See attached receipt. This is the only time I've ever purchased anything from them. I have had to dispute this with many collection agencies in which they did remove it as to proof of purchase with a XXXX balance. Unfortunately, Comenity/Zaes has not removed it from my credit report which has a huge negative impact. They even show that I had been making payments and that I opened an account back in XXXX. That information is incorrect and I am being penalized for inaccurate information..

Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute with XXXX and the Credit Company. I sent 2 letters to both entities I have requested an answer to unauthorized charges that I refused to pay off. XXXX offered a credit due to the inconvenience and I asked the card to put an identity theft alert and the first time they apologized and blamed the first customer service representative. The second time I was told that unauthorized charges are theft when a beautician practices were shady at best. I kept her present from my birthday and told me I could smoke if I let her do my hair for an event on my birthday. When at the counter my charge was double and told the beautician I couldnt go over XXXX and was quoted a XXXX and paid that to the credit card company but the rest as I said to the teller and refused to sign and ignored and processed a card not in my legal last name or address in file and walked out. I was under the impression the manager would reach out and until I seen double on my bill i called and they still refuse to give me the investigation and XXXX will give a credit and thats fine they can than pay the balance for unauthorized charges without a resolution and ignoring every complaint. admitting and giving a credit on email and being charged and hit on credit card is illegal and want this resolved please. my last attempt to arbitrate a illegal transaction and failure by a credit card to shut down a card or resolve any issues showing my signature. Why? there is not one and refused and the beautician needs to speak up as she remembers and needs to be honest when a client cancelled on her and told me she had time to play. XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I made a purchase on XX/XX/XXXX for {$44.00} at XXXX. Because of credits on my account my closing balance for XX/XX/XXXX was {$23.00}. I never received my statement and forgot to pay the account. I paid {$49.00} on XX/XX/XXXX ( due date XX/XX/XXXX ) and {$2.00} on XX/XX/XXXX ( due date XX/XX/XXXX. Therefore for a balance of {$23.00}, I paid {$27.00} in fees and interest. I have never been late on this account. I realize this is a very small issue and amount. However, I believe their charges were totally unreasonable. I realize that my not receiving the statement does not exonerate this company from billing me late fees/interest. To bill me {$27.00} for a balance of {$23.00} that was paid within 52 days of this purchase is outrageous based on my credit history since XXXX with this credit cad issuer.

Consumer Complaint: I opened an online savings account with Comenity Direct Bank in XX/XX/2021 by depositing eighty-thousand dollars. Due to a death in the family on XX/XX/2021 and an immediate need for my funds, I requested that the account be closed and the funds sent by check overnight. The bank said they preferred to send the funds by electronic transfer. I said transfer the funds to my linked XXXX XXXX account. On XX/XX/2021 they said they would transfer the funds, and it might take 3 to 5 business days. The funds were never transferred. I made numerous phone calls to Comenity Direct to get my money. I spoke with numerous employees, including XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. They all failed to solve the problem, and they all refused to give me the name and phone number of a bank executive. On XX/XX/2021 I spoke with XXXX, who said she was an executive. When she refused to give me the name and number of any corporate executive, I asked and she agreed to have a bank executive call me the next day. No one did. I am a XXXX year old male and the bank is guilty of senior abuse and apparently brank fraud.
