Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XX/XX/2021 I placed an online order with XXXX for a for a 21700 battery. The 21700 describes the batterys physical dimensions : 21 millimeters in diameter and 70 millimeters long ; similar to the c cell, or d designator for standard battery size in the past. The 21700 battery I received however was 75mm long, and would not fit the device I purchased it for. When I contacted XXXX for a refund they told me there would not be able to provide a full refund, to exaggerate to make a point : 30 % open package charge ; 30 % restocking ; 40 % shipping charge, so in the end, after returning the product, I would owe them an additional 10 %. I thought this was unreasonable and contacted my credit card companies to dispute the charges. My first contact was by phone, explaining in detail the above mentioned problems, they sent me a physical letter asking for the same details, which I provided the same day. I then recieved a letter from the credit card company instructing me to return the product to the company with detailed information about the return ( and the complaint information AGAIN ). The dispute on the charge was removed until the return was complete.

Issue: Problem when making payments
Subissue: Problem during payment process
Consumer Complaint: New York and company never sent me a bill. I know I had to make the payment I called and made the payment. The following month they said I was late. Technically I was late I made the payment before time so they applied 2 payment for the same month. When I tried to clear it with them they said they cant do anything about it. They closed the account I dont owe then and they still havent removed the late fee. This causing a problem on my credit report. I need to purchase my first home the American dream and I cant do that because of a {$25.00} dollar payment they considered late that technically was not late.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I purchased an order of floor tile from XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX the tile was delivered to my home. The driver said he could only off load the tile which was in boxes on wooden pallets onto the street. He had no way to move the pallets onto my driveway or put them into my garage. I refused delivery of the tile. The pallets of tile remained on the truck and he drove away. I never accepted the merchandise. On XX/XX/XXXX I was given a provisional credit after I filed a dispute on XX/XX/XXXX, see attached. On XX/XX/XXXX the credit was reversed. I never received a letter stating that they had reversed the credit. I never received a letter explaining their reasons for denying my dispute. I received nothing until I received an email stating my payment was due. This charge is in dispute I should not be billed for a charge that is being disputed. I sent a letter XX/XX/XXXX, see attached asking that the dispute be reopened. I have received nothing from Comenity Bank. They are still sending me emails stating that my payment is due. This dispute must be resolved in my favor as I never accepted delivery of the merchandise.
