Consumer Complaint: I was charged a late fee in XXXX, XXXX and XXXX of XXXX. I provided bank information to show the payments were made on time but they have done nothing to resolve it. XXXX fee {$29.00} - due XX/XX/XXXX - paid XX/XX/XXXX XXXX fee {$35.00} - due XX/XX/XXXX - paid XX/XX/XXXX XXXX fee {$35.00} = due XX/XX/XXXX - paid XX/XX/XXXX ( just to test my theory & was still charged ) Total fees {$99.00} I can not reach anyone by phone to discuss this issue so everything is done through the website. I see many others are having the same problem based on social media posts on their page. This started when they updated their system.

Consumer Complaint: I request to review all reports. There are differences between reports issues. I tried 2 or 3 times but they did not review it in accordance to law. Both reports have the account that does not have past and a XXXX balance use. NO info about use, or unknown information. The credit score report in XXXX reports " Charged off as bad debt Purchased by another lender '' in XXXX reports " Charged off account ''. Non of them have information about " payment status or past due '' or worst payment status. The reports do not have the same information, Commenity bank do not accomplish to verify all before send their determination to my dispute. As a consumer I request to delete the account in accordance to the law.

Consumer Complaint: I just saw that I had a Hard inquiry on my credit report ; which I had no idea what that even was. I XXXX the company it has listed which is COMENITYCAPITAL/XXXX on XXXX, 2022. I had to XXXX what that was & what it meant. It means that this company pulled my credit report without authorization!?! Or someone has applied for a XXXX XXXX XXXX with Comenity Capital Bank. Which I have NEVER EVEN HEARD OF. Now what do I do to get this off & dispute it..? This is so very frustrating. So I called the number they gave me online & they answered the phone as a different name of a different company ; so I called same telephone number back & they answered the phone as ANOTHER DIFFERENT name of a DIFFERENT company! & when I called him out on it ( because I could tell it was the same voice- which was foreign. ) He actually hung up on me..!! & Im just not sure who to trust giving out any of my information to be able to confirm my identity.

Consumer Complaint: It is my bad fortune to have accounts with some companies that only offer Comenity as the servicer of their credit cards. However, after several months of poor servicing, I am convinced that Comenity purposely tries to make paying your credit card bills so difficult that you end up paying extra interest or service fees. With 2 companies, in particular, XXXX and XXXX, you can ONLY take advantage of the better loyalty programs if you carry their store cards. However : 1 ) for a period of 6-8 weeks ( XXXX to XXXX of 2022 ) you could not even see your balance as their system was not working 2 ) Their online payment portal consistently goes through the motions of accepting your payment but then provides a message that they are unable to complete the payment and directs you to customer service 3 ) the automated customer service goes through the motions of taking your payment ( which takes about 5 minutes! ) & then provides a message it can not be processed and you must speak to a customer service agent & be charged {$9.00} 4 ) after holding for long periods, the agents take your information, make you hold, and hang up with no action taken. Today, I had to make that call 3 times. 45 minutes later, I'm still unable to make my credit card payment with no explanation. Each time, after 10-25 minutes for each of the 3 calls, the rep would pick me up from hold and hang up on me. I called and asked to speak with a supervisor and was promptly hung up on. On those few times when I have been able to speak with an agent, they tell me this happens to everyone. Can you imagine the extra interest & fees Comenity is collecting with such widespread abuse? One month of issues I wouldn't be so suspicious, but at 4 months, I have to think it is nefarious. I feel strongly that this is a scam. The Comenity is intentionally making it so hard to pay your bill ( and I pay mine off monthly ), that you have no choice but to carry a balance, accrue interest, and pay unnecessary service fees. While this has been happening to me, I just reviewed their XXXX page, and WOW! The issue is so widespread, that they have to be making a fortune off of consumers just trying to pay their bills. This company needs some government oversight.

Consumer Complaint: I was erroneously enrolled into Account XXXX by Express Credit Card. On XX/XX/XXXX I was billed {$24.00}. And again billed {$24.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I emailed customer service who stated that the charge was added to my account in error. They would cancel me from the program ( Account XXXX ) and would refund the fee. Earlier this week I noticed that I have been cancelled from the program ( Account XXXX ) but was billed again ( on XX/XX/XXXX ). I emailed customer service again which did not resolve the matter. I am thankful that they have cancelled me from a program that I never enrolled into but I would also like for them to refund my account the fees that were billed to me for those services that I never provided authorization for. Your assistance in getting this matter resolved is most appreciated.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, I had an account with Comenity Bank ( XXXX XXXX branded card ). I missed to make a payment with them and they have directly reported my account to credit bureau. Comenity bank did not try to contact me via Phone, email or postal mail to see if I can make a payment. Instead, they went ahead and reported to credit bureaus. I am having a very severe impact due to this for getting a competitive rate for my home purchase / Auto loan. I have requested comenity bank to remove the reporting as they did not make any attempt to reach out to me, but they have refused to do so.
