Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXX XXXX, I received a collections call from Comenity Bank. This is absolutely unacceptable, and is very much an attempt to skirt the law surrounding collections calls before XXXX XXXX and after XXXX XXXX. In addition to this experience, back in XXXX ( I unfortunately do not recall the exact date ), I had to call and complain regarding a similar problem of excessive calls at inappropriate times. In addition to this problem, Comenity was also not honoring my auto-payment agreement that I had created with them. This happened not once, but THREE DIFFERENT TIMES. Each time I asked what happened, they flat-out lied because each time it was never fixed. I made sure most recently that it was set-up, and they admitted on the recorded line that it was set-up correctly but assured me that this wouldnt happen again and it would be paid automatically on XX/XX/XXXX. This did not happen, and I have now been charged another late fee that seems to have increased from last time. More over I have reason to believe that one of their employees gained access to my information for this card ( it is a Kay credit card ) and used it to purchase mens diamond-gold earrings. I came to this conclusion as the card has not left my home since I received it, and Kay themselves confirmed for me that one of their employees could not have gone in and used my card to place the order, especially since the fraudster sent it to my address as they did not have the ability to change the delivery address. This would only occur if the fraudster only had the limited access that logging in with only the card information provides.

Consumer Complaint: I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to address a concern regarding the information on my credit report. After reviewing my credit report, I noticed that there are late payments listed on my account, and I would like to request either their removal or correction. I understand the importance of maintaining an accurate credit history, and I take my financial responsibilities seriously. However, I believe there may be an error in the reporting of late payments on my credit report. I have attached supporting documentation, including bank statements and payment records, to illustrate that these late payments are not accurate. COMENITYCB/MYPLACERWDS XXXX This account was NEVER late. The late payment is erroneous. Those payments were made on time. I am requesting that the late payment markings be updated to reflect my accurate payment history. If there is any confusion, I suggest you contact myself or COMENITYCB/MYPLACERWDS customer service I kindly request that you investigate this matter and, if appropriate, remove or correct the late payments from my credit report. I am committed to maintaining a positive credit history, and the accurate representation of my financial status is crucial for my financial well-being. Thank you for your time and assistance in rectifying this matter. I am confident that we can work together to ensure the accuracy of my credit report.

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Problem with fees
Consumer Complaint: I had an XXXX credit card with Comenity Bank. They closed the account on XX/XX/XXXX because they were bought by XXXX. Ever since they closed my account, it has been accruing late fees and interest charges. Im currently unemployed but I was finally able to pay off the account on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$250.00}. I checked my XXXX XXXX today XX/XX/XXXX to see if they reported that the account is paid off and I saw that there is currently a balance of {$3.00}. I logged in to my old XXXX account and there is an interest charge on purchases in the amount {$3.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I sent Comenity bank two messages regarding this today XX/XX/XXXX. Im reporting them because they have unfair consumer practices and they have been calling me all hours of the night including weekends prior to me paying this account off. They left me threatening messages and they have been harassing me late at night and on weekends. Why is there an interest charge on a XXXX balance? They usually charge the interest charge every XXXX of the month and the late fee of {$41.00} every XXXX or XXXX of the month. If I dont pay this {$3.00} before XX/XX/XXXX then Im worried that I will again be charged the {$41.00} late fee and the account will accumulate again. Im currently unemployed and I really dont need this to ruin my credit score and my credit. Comenity Bank is horrendous and they need to stop this. Please help me with this.

Consumer Complaint: Received text in XX/XX/XXXXXXXX about a fraudulent purchase on my Comenity card. I did not make that purchase and they were going to close old account and issue new card and I would receive new card in 7 to 10 days. I have not received the replacement card as of yet ( XX/XX/XXXXXXXX ) and am locked out of my online account as well. After 15 calls ( 10 to customer service- 4 to fraud dept-1 to corporate headquarters ) to rectify this so I can make payments/purchases on my account they can not get into my account either and can not help me! I spoke to corporate office ( XX/XX/XXXXXXXX ) and they assured me when I call back in 48 hours, they will be able to get into my account and issue my new card. They still can not get into my account or help me. I am receiving emails and phone calls about my late payment now. I can not get my account number either but emails are showing a different last four digits than my original card. Old card last 4 digits is XXXX new last 4 digits is XXXX. I do not want to make any payments on a card I dont have and I do not want this to affect my credit score! As of today, I continue to be told that they can see me in system but is locked out of my account. I am in limbo at this point. And I am being told there is nothing they can do and continue to give me the runaround.
