Consumer Complaint: I have both a business and personal account at Bank of America. I have had accounts with Bank of America for over 25 years. The business account is XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the personal account is XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX. On XX/XX/2023 {$6900.00} was fraudulently transferred out of my business account to a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Pennsylvania XXXX. This person is not known to me and the address is a rundown property in foreclosure. The transfer was not discovered until XX/XX/2023 at which time the Fraud Dept. at BOFA was called and a complaint was filed. No 'recipient added ' notice, nor the code notices were received for the fraudulent person and the transaction. I followed all instructions from BOFA about changing passwords, etc., when instructed that day. Paperwork was sent to the Fraud Dept XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX It was Denied. Paperwork was refiled after a police report was made. 2. Another attempt was made to transfer {$10000.00} on XXXX XXXX. I received a notification and called the bank and the Fraud was stopped. 3. Personal Saving account- On Friday XX/XX/2023 I checked my balance which was {$10000.00} in the morning before running payroll. I deposited several checks into my business account and went back into the account on my computer to pay payroll. My saving account showed {$1100.00} and that {$9500.00} had been transferred out to a XXXX XXXX. I immediately called BOFA to stop the transfer, they said the best they could do is file a claim. I did not receive again the notice of 'Recipient ADDED ' or that a transfer had been made, which is what happens when a transfer had been made. The funds transferred back into my account on Monday, XXXX XXXX at which time BOFA did a FORCED DEBIT to the fraudulent account even though the account had been locked down on the previous Friday. The Fraud complaint has never been responded to to date. TO DATE : I have not had any of my funds returned to me. It is apparent that Bank of America 's online system is not secure and can easily be overridden. Bank of America is uncooperative in responding. Calls are made to follow up on the Fraud, and you are kept on the phone for over an hour as you are transferred from one person to another. Please advise what to do. XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I waited for ten days for a wire transfer. Today, the company XXXX XXXX initiated the payment to Bank of America. Later at about XXXX XXXX, the XXXX XXXX rep contacted me to tell me that the Bank returned the wire payment because they needed an address. First of all, at the time I started with the XXXX XXXX, my address was different and I have since left that address. The Bank account was opened at that address, then the address was updated at the Bank. Second, I had already told the XXXX XXXX that I was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX abroad and that they should not send me checks. I noticed they initially insisted on sending Checks and I questioned why they chose such a dangerous way to send people their funds given that the recipient had told them she is unavailable at the address. Besides, why would a rational person want to send a check when the recipient had refused the means because they are not going to be home and needed the funds asap for an XXXX abroad and all that is required is for the funds to be in their Bank account where the check would have ultimately been delivered? Third, it is not safe to send checks of such an amount in the United States. This is egregious. I am demanding an investigation of this matter. This has caused me irreparable harm and I am considering a lawsuit.

Bank of America I was in the process of shopping for a new bank account as I pulled my credit I have noticed that Bank of America charge Off this account on my credit and I have never received a 1099 form can you please go ahead and send that now. 2. To Whom it may concern, While looking at my credit reports I have noticed the following account had a discrepancy in the payment history '' section of the listing BANK OF AMERICA XXXX This charged off account is reporting payment history each month when it should not since the account has been charged off. This is falsely manipulating the statute of limitations which is a FCRA violation. I didn't authorize these and someone hacked my account and was controlling my phone. I reported it to bank of america immediately and because i have made other transactions which i authorized before to my daughter they said ot was valid. Bank of america didn't even follow the transaction to the bank it was made too.

Consumer Complaint: Bank of America closed an account for me on XX/XX/2018, after a claim I made for two charge backs that they made to my account. I recently found out when I asked XXXX for a report, that apart from closing my account, they reported me as a closed account with an unpaid balance and possible fraud. It seems to me an unfair measure, since at the time, I provided them with all the necessary information so that they could verify that I had been the victim of a scam on a website called XXXX. Said bad information contained in my report, does not allow me to open accounts in the main US banks for having that wrong information in my report.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I opened a checking account with Bank of America online. Once the account was opened I set up direct deposit for this account for my employer and also set up mobile banking everything was confirmed. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email that my debit card was on the way. I tried to log into my mobile banking app and was told that they couldnt locate my account. I received my debit card on XX/XX/XXXX and attempted to activate the card and was told that the card number couldnt be found. XX/XX/XXXX I reached out to Bank of America to find out why I couldnt activate the debit card and it was at this time I was told that the account closed due to my identity couldnt be verified. I was never notified by Bank of America that they couldnt verify my identity. This is all happening during my pay week. Fast forward to Friday XX/XX/XXXX and my direct deposit is sent to this closed account. I called Bank to inquire about the deposit which they confirmed was pending which confused me because the account was closed. I was then told that a hardship request can be filed and I could go into my local branch to receive my direct deposit but when I get to the branch I was advised that is done via the customer service center and we placed a call to the contact center and spoke to a rep that advised me that the hardship withdrawal couldnt be done due to the transaction was still pending and I would have to wait until Monday to get any type of resolution which I advised him that was unacceptable because I was told that it could be done and also why would the bank accept a deposit for a closed account. He couldnt answer the question and tired to end the call I then requested a manager. XXXX took over the conversation and was unsympathetic and cold she went on to explain that deposit was pending and nothing could be done. I also asked why the account was closed which no one can explain why.

This is ridiculous and abusive proceeding. I paid the minimum amount ( {$70.00} ) because my credit card account with that bank is on dispute mode and they still havent answered me at all.
