Consumer Complaint: Essentially, I set up a payment arrangement with them back in early 2020 because I experienced financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I was able to set up the arrangement only after being advised that I could only be eligible if the account was behind. The account is now current but the late fees are bringing down my score. Per SEC 4021 of the CARES Act, these late fees should be updated on my credit report for all 3 agencies. This has yet to happen.

Consumer Complaint: There is a repetitive issue that American Express does not process payments, and blames the customer. Never with any other payments, all payments get process as scheduled but American Express several times a year they claim either account number invalid or ABA routing invalid, this a scheme to defraud, to charge fees, late fees etc, and have the card holder speaks specifically with their XXXX call center, so they later begin robocalls and share personal information with their XXXX friends as no control what goes on. When called or emailed American Express refuses to make good and at times they calls in odd hours leaving messages that since they can not reach out to discuss the close the case emailed, calls come at XXXX XXXX ....

I also asked them to cease their illegal activities immediately, but to date there have been no responses from their office. Consumer Complaint: I have tried to call their number on the back of their card XXXX and getting my card unlocked. IT is partially unlocked I can make payments etc but I can't change my address bc I put in three numbers on the back wrong, yet no problem when changing my password. MAIL has been stolen at our address. POLICE were informed. Hence needed mail to be sent to this address : XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX, MA XXXX. But I can't update that in AMEX system. So if they don't update my address and send confirmation to this address then we will have an issue as I won't be able to get any of their mail. I need them to change the address to what I provided and unlock whatever parts they have locked.
