Consumer Complaint: XXXX, XXXX, through XXXX charged my American Express Platinum card XXXX bathing suits at {$660.00}, I did not order or received. American Express platinum covered the charges. {$660.00}. XXXX reversed the charges, {$660.00}. American Express Platinum did not reverse their covered charge. I am left with a fake charge of {$660.00} from American Express Platinum, I am expected to pay! I wish to reverse American Express Platinum charge {$660.00}, asap.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I saw a referral offer on my American Express platinum card. The referral offer says " get XXXX Mr and addition XXXX membership rewards no matter what card your friend is approved for ''. I utilized this offer and used it to refer XXXX of my friends, he applied and was approved for the personal delta credit card. However, today a representative told me my referral is invalid because my friend was applied for a different card than what I was using to refer him. This does not make any sense as the offer clearly says " no matter what card your friend is approved for ''

Consumer Complaint: I closed my American Express account back in XXXX of XXXX after my information was compromised the balance was paid off and was at {$0.00}. In XXXX of XXXX when i went to purchase a new car i notice another AMEX account that has been used in my name since XXXX of XXXX and it and a high balance. That was the first time I found out about that account. And they been using my bank account to make payments to that credit card. I have an Amex XXXX account so when I see it on my statement I assumed it was paying the XXXX card.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent via certified mail, my Affidavit of Truth which was notorized, stating I do not owe American Express any alleged debts. In my attachment are the original documents sent and my certified mail receipt. They received my affidavit and did not respond with an affidavit or any proof that I owed them a debt. They sent back billing statements which do not prove anything at all. I, XXXX XXXX, am the original creditor, only creditor, and natural person, pursuant to 15 USC 1692 A. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was served papers of a lawsuit. I am now being harassed and extorted from a private company/agent, American Express Legal , represented by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for an alleged debt I have no awareness of. Once again, provide me with proof of a contract that shows that I owe American Express a debt. Not billing statements or credit applications of me extending credit to American Express, but an actual contract. If you are unable to show proof, cease and desist, and delete any alleged account of debt that you are trying to collect from me. Your actions are in direct violation of the 1974 Privacy Act and XXXX5 USC 1692E ( 3 ), 15 USC 1692E ( 4 ), and 15 USC 1692E ( 5 ). Your policies, agreements and allegiance are also in extreme violation of the Peace and Friendship Treaty of Morocco and The Treaty of the Delaware Indians. Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Changes in terms of what was offered/advertised On XX/XX/XXXX I applied for and was approved for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX airline miles promotion once the cardholder spends {$3000.00} over 3 months. I would NOT have opened the account IF I was notified that I was not eligible for the XXXX airline miles promotion. After meeting the promotion requirements I expected to see XXXX airline miles in my account. By the end of the month of XXXX, I had not yet received what was advertised. I called American Express to follow up on the promotion. They initiated an investigation into why I had not yet received the miles. I was advised that a decision on the investigation would be finalized no later than XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with the American Express customer service billing team XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) who confirmed that I have met all of the eligibility requirements and that she can see that I applied for the XXXX mile promotion. But at the time she did not have an update on the investigation but stated it may have been an Amex error. It has now been more than XXXX weeks past the time I should have received what was advertised and I have no other choice than to initiate a complaint to get the XXXX airline miles ( retail value {$2400.00} ) I deserve. It is now XXXX, I have not heard back from the company with any resolution from the investigation that was initiated in XX/XX/XXXX.

I have called their rewards department numerous times trying to get answers - I have been an AMEX member for 12+ years and these points were accumulated over the last year. Their inability to give me answers or release my points has cost me over US {$8000.00} in increased travel costs for XX/XX/2021 since I was not able to use my points for the trip.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted 2 online payments to American Express from 2 different banks. One on XX/XX/XXXX for {$1000.00} from XXXX. One on XX/XX/XXXX for {$1000.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I used the wrong bill in both situations and paid an account that had been closed. I intended to pay my XXXX XXXX but accidentally used the bill pay for the OLD XXXX card provider - American Express. Starting XX/XX/XXXX, I've called American Express multiple times only to be told, there is nothing they can do. I even offered to provide the detail XXXX XXXX provided showing information regarding the payments, routing number, account number etc... The only thing Amex does is transfer me to XXXX ( new XXXX card provider ). The money has been debited from both checking accounts and sent to American Express. XXXX confirmed American Express will not forward this type of payment. I've attached details regarding the XX/XX/XXXX transaction from XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX the American Express account was opened. Beginning of XXXX payments went into delinquency. On XX/XX/XXXX, the account was closed and at the end of XXXX or beginning of XXXX, the account was charged off as bad debt as a result of a court hearing that they never served me papers for or contacted me. I was only contacted after the fact via mail. This account says I have a past due amount and they tried to contact me again in XXXX of XXXX. The account had, at that point, been closed and charged off for XXXX years. This account is too old to still be on my credit report I believe and they have continued to harass me for payment on the account even though it was charged off as bad debt.
