Consumer Complaint: Ally Auto has billed me on numerous occasions for summons I have not received. When asked for a copy of the summons they claim they do n't have access and give you a summons number to look up on the DMV website. When you log into the website the number does not appear in their records. I have called the DMV several times and the summons number provided by Ally is never on file. They bill me for a summons they claim I received and add additional fees but can not provide documentation of the summons.

I did not authorize employees of ALLY FINANCIAL to review my credit report for nay purpose at any time. Further, I personally contacted this company and requested that they provide me with any signed documents authorizing them to review my report within 5 business days and they have failed to do so in clear violation of my Civil rights under FCRA and PRIVACY RIGHT. As a direct result I have continued to suffer irreparable economic loss due in large part to the gross negligence of ALLY FINANCIAL acts and Omission.

Consumer Complaint: Ally Financial has been charging a fee for late payment when I have been paying the amount due as shown on the online summary. So instead of allowing me to pay for the amount due and also any additional fees on the account they only allow the amounts paid to apply to the principle and do not tell you or advise you that any overpayment is only applied to principle and will not be applied to fees. They then XXXX fees based on the original infraction without telling you.

Consumer Complaint: When I log into my Ally Bank account, it used to always send me a one-time login code to my email address. I always check 'this is a public computer ' so they will always require the code, as I sometimes have guests and would rather not have reason to suspect a guest if somebody hacks into my account. I also occasionally access my account from the public library. Recently, the last few times I 've logged in, it has NOT sent me a one-time login code to my email address, thereby increasing the chance that a guest, or somebody at the library, could hack into my account. I have contacted Ally several times, asking that they re-set my default login to requiring the one-time login code for my security. " do not EVER allow anyone including me to access my account without sending a confirmation email to my XXXXXXXXXXXX email address. I am on a public computer and will hold Ally responsible if there is any misuse of my account. This is the second time I am contacting Ally about this. If it happens again I will file a complaint with the CFPB. '' They responded that " we can not comply with this email verification process ''. Which is XXXX. Ally has previously required such email verification, and other online banks require it. There is no reason that Ally - an exclusively online bank, which should be at the forefront of internet security - can not do this ; they 've been requiring an emailed one-time verification code for as long as I 've been a customer there except for the past month or XXXX. Please encourage Ally to be more proactive in internet security and more responsive to customer needs by requiring such a code to be entered when I log in. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I turned in my leased ATS Cadillac to the dealer on XXXX XXXX, 2016 at the end of the lease in impeccable shape. The inspection from Ally was done 3 weeks after I turned it in. I have gone around and around with Ally several times why I feel the charges are not accurate and request that a manager call me - which to this date has never happened. I want them to give me an explanation on what these charges are for and why they are refusing to dismiss - since the car was parked in the lot 3 weeks in a super tight lot - who knows who dinged the car in that time period. The car was sold at auction - and knowing that they are trying to make more money from me when they made their money ( and more ) from the auction dealer - is even more ludicrous and appalling. I am filing this complaint especially after seeing the XXXX dollar law suit that has been charged against them - and the unfair practices that they are known for.
