Consumer Complaint: I am ally bank customer - checking and savings bank account. I scheduled a Bill Pay facility to pay $ XXXX to my spouse who is also having Ally bank account. Check was supposed to be delivered on XXXX XXXX, 2016 but it never happened. Moreover to my surprise the $ XXXX was debitted from my account on XXXX XXXX, XXXX how come that is possible? Firstly check should be delivered on time. Secondly money should come out from my account only when the receiver en cashed it? Moreover even when receiver deposits the check into his account it will take 3-5 days for the entire money to be available in his account even when it is ally to ally transfer. So why ally is in a hurry to take money out of my account so early - much before the check is reached the received? I am writing this on XXXX XXXX, 2016 morning. As of now receiver has n't received the check which he is suppose to receive by XXXX XXXX, 2016.

Consumer Complaint: 1. Dealer 's APR calculations appear to be understated. Interest is computed on a daily basis for an auto loan but 2. The contract appears deceptive because it is called a GMAC ( ALLY ) Flexible Finance Plan but there is no flexibility offered to the borrowers. 3. An investigation will show that the car dealer, XXXX XXXX, processed one contract at the requested simple interest rate and then deceptively said a " mistake '' was made after my signing and another contract needed to be printed but the second contract 's interest rate was based on a daily computation rather than simple annual interest. 4. In retrospect, I believe I was charged an unfair and highly marked-up interest rate because I am XXXX, especially because of the consent agreement Ally entered into with the federal government.

Consumer Complaint: I was contacted via mail from Ally regarding a settlement for having inflated interest rates for a person of minority. The deadline was approaching and I was not able to locate the form itself, so I googled. Where I was then able to fill o out an eligibility form ( which I did ) and was submitted by both mail and fax. Today upon checking the status of the claim, I saw that checks were issue back in XXXX. I called Ally Settlment Administrator and by giving my name they knew exactly who I was and my address. Theres no way I am the only XXXX XXXX in the entire world. Upon confirming that it was in fact I whom they were speaking to, I was told that I did not complete a participation form. I then stated that I followed the directions per the website for claim and there was no f forthcoming correspondence from them indicating that the wrong form had been submitted. She stated yes. I then thanked her and to have a nice day. I did my part in a timely manner as was requested.

Consumer Complaint: Account number : XXXX I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and found late payment on the dates below : 30 days past due XXXX, XXXX I am not sure how this happened, I believe that I had made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me or the payments were misapplied. I do ask in light of the good standing relationship we have that you remove these lates from my credit report. I do not believe it is accurate and would rather not have to spend more time than necessary for both of us to resolve this situation.

Consumer Complaint: I asked for balance of payoff and paid the amount company said I owed. I received a letter confirming payoff but two months later was notified that I still owed a payment. I disputed the amount owed both by phone calls and by registered mail. My only response for two years has been that I owe the " last '' payment. They have now turned me over to collections. If I agree to last payment they said I still would owe hundreds of dollars in fees and interest. What is my recourse?

Consumer Complaint: I have an auto loan with Ally Financial and I got behind on my payment, but never by more that 30-days, but still outside of the 15-day grace period. Most months I receive automatic calls from Ally regard my account, but no one is on the phone when I pickup. I complained about this issue for several months. However, each time I inform Ally collections or customer service staff of the problem and tell them to notate my account with the fact that I have made this compliant, the next time I call no note is added to my account and nothing is done. I asked the customer service person that took my last complaint on XXXX XXXX, 2016 at XXXX what would be done regarding this complaint. She stated that she would just note it in my account. I asked to speak with the manager and XXXX, manager of collections, stated that this is what happens when the automatic caller calls someone. I asked what would be done to ensure that when the automatic caller calls a borrowers there is someone there to respond. XXXX, manager of collections, simple stated that he would note the account, he did not seem to care. Finally after I pressed him about the issue he stated that he would notify the automatic dialer team. This is my fifth month calling regarding this issue and I have yet to hear of a resolution.

Consumer Complaint: Ally financially made a billing error. This is a non-valid debt. We have been fighting with them for 3 years to get this corrected. My husband 's lease ended in 2013. We were over the miles and planned to purchase the vehicle, however the dealer talked him into re-leasing instead and the dealer bought the vehicle. He explained this would absolve any fees. Our buyout quoted price from Ally was {$16000.00}, XXXX XXXX ( dealership ) paid Ally {$16000.00} for the vehicle. The dealership assured us we would not be responsible for anything further ( as did Ally ). For some reason Ally still sent us a bill about a month later for over mileage ( even though this vehicle was purchased by the dealer and not returned to Ally ). We have been going rounds with them to get this corrected. I even filed a XXXX report with them in 2013 where a manager responded and assured me it would be removed. However it never was.

Consumer Complaint: I called Ally at XXXX my loan originator they found my acct # XXXX. And the lady said she was tranfering me to a specialist. I was not told i was being transfered to a collection agency. I speak with a gentleman that answers the phone but does not say or disclosed the name of his company. I tell him i have an acct he asked for my demos but does not give me a mini miranda stating ... this is an attempt to collect a debt any information may be use for ... .after my demos i asked where was i transfered he said to north side location. But no mini miranda was disclosed. by my request he tells me the balance. Since by now he tells me that is a collection agency i can settle the acct for XXXX dollars that i dont have. I tell him i can pay XXXX. He says no. I ask for a manager i get XXXX XXXX that was super aggresive and rude. again no mini miranda disclosure was given by this collection manager. If i would had not asked the rep where i was transfered at the begining of the conversation i would had assume i was talking to Ally Financing That makes it very misleading by Ally to transfer me like that and by North Side Location to not disclose their business name deny my right to know everything i said was going to be use for collection purposes and to tell me that the letter they have sent me assuming i got any correspondance from them which i have not. Then XXXX wants me to pay XXXX in payments because i cant afford the settlement of XXXX and that if i dont pay it now that offer os out of the table. I had XXXX to pay not XXXX to do a lumn sumn. His collection tactics were too pushy and aggressive but to not disclose miranda rights is breaking the law

They stated that LTV was negative yet they authorized the purchase price therefore I would have to pay the debt over a 6 year period which would cost me {$44000.00}. I requested a refinance and they stated that I would have to pay the inflated amount for 3 years before a discussion could be pursued. XXXX XXXX misrepresented the LTV and Ally Financial paid them versus doing sue diligence and me as the consumer is left holding the responsibility,
