Consumer Complaint: On XXXX 2015 I received a package in the mail from Ally Financial letting me know that I was identified as an eligible customer for a discrimination settlement. I returned the package as indicated.XXXX I never got my payment. I called back in XXXX, and they said the payment was mailed to my old address, they updated my information. However I never got the check, I called again in XXXX, and they said that they are reiissuing the check again, but never got it, I have emailed and called them and they never follow up, they forward me to voice mails and they never return my calls. I called today again, and they have not returned my calls yet nor have I received my compensation. Very rude, and poor customer service, very dismissal. I did n't ask for this situation I think they should be able to help me and find a solution to this situation.

They cashed a XXXX check and a XXXX check almost 2 months ago. they said XXXX check was sent back ( however, no check received and bank statement shows they cashed check ) they kept XXXX check. they are now saying I own 3 months car payments and will repo vehicle despite them having almost XXXX they cashed to buy out vehicale and can not account for the money. I 've called 30 times, promised a call back and never given one. Told different story every time.

Consumer Complaint: There were about XXXX disputes on my account that I notified Ally Bank about. I was told that the debit card would be closed and I would receive my money back. Well instead of that happening, Ally added on fees for the disputed amounts. They then reported the fees to XXXX and a collections agency as though I had a negative account. I have contacted them several times to correct this. Please assist.

Consumer Complaint: I leased a 2003 Chevy Malibu from Ally Bank. The lease was for a three year period and XXXX miles. Upon returning the vehicle at the designated time at lease end and dealership, it was inspected by the dealer and found to have normal wear and no damage to either the interior or exterior and approx. XXXX under in allotted mileage. Ally Bank was notified of the return. The car remained at the dealership for an undetermine amount of time until a bank representative was sent to do an inspection. This inspection also noted normal wear with the exception of a so called crack in the side of driver 's seat. We received pictures of the alleged crack which were clearly undefined. There was no crack in the seat when the car was returned. Ally has retained the security deposit and is demanding an additional {$100.00} I have made 3 attempts to resolve this issue with the bank all of which have had no response. They now threaten collection and negative credit reporting. Ally Bank has made it clear to me that they have no intention to do nothing other than harass and strong arm me until cave in and write a check.

Consumer Complaint: I send extra money with my regular payment to cover a late fee but the company does n't apply the extra amount to the late fees. They apply it to principal and carry the late fees forward. I have called company three months-XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX -- been told I have to call and ASK them to apply extra payment to the late fees. I have tried in that in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX but it does not work. I have been told they would correct the problem and even given references numbers but the next bill shows up and nothing was done. On XXXX XXXX, 2016 I called and was told part of the {$30.00} late fee would be adjusted and the other part would be waived. With that assurance I sent {$260.00} to cover the remaining {$260.00} on the statement. They are still showing late fees. No adjustment has been made. I can never get my account caught up. Late fees keep accruing. It 's a scam. Their customer service is the absolute worst I 've ever encountered. The rep sounds like someone in XXXX and they talk and talk and never make any sense. I have spent at least 1.5 hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue and told at least twice it would be corrected and nothing is done.

Consumer Complaint: Ally bank advertises that they do not charge any fees for the international incoming wire transfer. Since Ally bank does not have a XXXX code, Ally bank uses XXXX XXXX XXXX as an intermediary bank. I was told from the Ally bank customer service that if the fund is in US dollars, 'Ally bank and the intermediary bank ' will not charge any fees. What is quoted is 'no fee from Ally and XXXX '. However, the intermediary bank charged me {$22.00}. I first contacted Ally, and got a reply to contact the intermediary bank ( XXXX ). I contacted XXXX, then I was informed that XXXX as an intermediary bank always charges the transfer fee. I contacted Ally again, complaining that they provided the wrong, misleading information. However, they maintain that because the fee occurred in the third party, they can not reimburse the fee. I am very disappointed that 1. the bank provided the wrong information 2. They refuse to reimburse because it is happened by a third party. Ally bank should take responsibility for providing the wrong information and the loss of the customer from the wrong information.

I contacted Ally to make arrangements, they told me that they could defer XX/XX/XXXX and move XX/XX/XXXX to the end of the note and that my next payment would be XX/XX/XXXX, provided that I make the XX/XX/XXXX payment. This payment was made and all was well. In the first week or so in XX/XX/XXXX I received a call and was told that the agreement was not for XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX but for XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX and that I was late. I told them that I took the opportunity to pay off other commitments in order to avoid this in the future and that payment would have to wait until XX/XX/XXXX. ( both XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX would be paid then ) since then I have received daily phone calls. They state that they need information but I have given them the same information every time. It is clear that this is no longer about communicating but about harassing me. Arrangements have been made in good faith, even after they change the original agreement without my knowledge.

Consumer Complaint: Describe what happened so we can understand the issue ... I did not give verbal and/or written permission for ALLY FINANCIAL to pull my credit report on XXXX XXXX, 2016. Per Federal Credit Reporting Act this is an ILLEGAL act to make an " Hard '' inquiry which decreased my credit score on my credit report. When asked to show me proof of authorization this company could not provide it. This inquiry needs to be deleted from my credit report.
