Consumer Complaint: I had XXXX auto loan with Ally Financial that originated in XX/XX/XXXX. I made my payments on time every month. I filed Chapter XXXX bankruptcy XX/XX/XXXX, and payments were being made to Ally Financial through my bankruptcy plan. I surrendered the vehicle to Ally Financial XXXX to remove that debt from my bankruptcy and so I could purchase another vehicle with a different financial institution. Now, Ally Financial is reporting XXXX on my credit report when I only had XXXX loan with them. Also, on those XXXX reports from Ally Financial, are also showing delinquencies that never happened.

Consumer Complaint: I am in bankruptcy as of XX/XX/XXXX. As such, I should be afforded all bankruptcy protection from creditors as per the automatic stay. This account is reporting that it is included in my bankruptcy, as well as is reporting me as late. My wife and I have been constantly monitoring our credit on a weekly basis during this entire bankruptcy process as my scores have a direct effect on my line of work. This reporting of lates has crushed my credit score and needs to removed ASAP. This is double hitting my credit score : once for being in bankruptcy and again for reporting me late. THIS REPORTING OF LATES IS ILLEGAL. This creditor is also reporting me late for XX/XX/XXXX when it 's XX/XX/XXXX, i.e. the month is n't even over yet!!

Consumer Complaint: on XXXX I financed a new XXXX pickup from XXXX, in XXXX ca. The salesman also sold me GAP protection, stating that if anything happened to the vehicle on a total loss that GAP will pay the outstanding balance. on XXXX I suffered a total loss of my XXXX XXXX pickup. I notified my insurance company, and Ally the finance company of the total loss. Ally stated verbally that the account was now frozen and would be in contact with the insurance company. My insurance company XXXX, settled their claim in the amount of XXXX, GAP was contacted and the process was started and all outstanding service contracts were refunded to the lender and noted as refundable items in the amount of XXXX. GAP determined the balance at the date of loss was XXXX after settlement and other credits the remaining balance would be XXXX upon conversation will Ally they stated verbally on the phone that everything was taken care of and they were in communication with GAP and that the account was paid and closed. During this time ALLY has reported me as late during my loss, then as current after they received the insurance payment, but never removed the late marks. Then at a much later time My credit report gets dinged again for late payments in XXXX thru XXXX as 120 days late. after many phone calls to resolve this matter nothing has happened, other than my credit getting ruined, I can not buy a house for my family to live in and all of my creditors have severely reduced my credit lines and have tarnished my reputation as a person and as a businessman, who relies on excellent credit to operate my businesses.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a new savings account with Ally Bank on XX/XX/2017. I applied online, this was my first transaction with Ally Bank. During the setup, to fund the new savings account, Ally Bank asked for my " other bank '' information, specifically the login ID and passcode to my other bank account with a credit union where the moneys were to be transferred from. Ally Bank also asked for the answer to my security question on record with the other bank. I provided that information to Ally Bank. I would like to find out : is it appropriate for Ally Bank to ask for my other bank login ID, passcode and security question answer as part of setting up a new savings account with them? I also would like to find out if this new savings account is legitimate. I am concerned that perhaps it was not Ally Bank I provided my other bank information to but a fraudulent entity. I believe I have a savings account with Ally Bank, Routing / ABA Number : XXXX, Account Number : XXXX, it was funded with a {$30000.00} transfer from my credit union checking account. The current balance is {$30000.00} with a {$2000.00} transfer in pending. Is this a legitimate Ally Bank savings account? Thank You!

Consumer Complaint: Auto lease was entered into XX/XX/XXXX. Lease terminated XX/XX/XXXX. Communications about late payments and additional amounts due to creditor ( Ally Financial/GMAC Financial Services ) began XX/XX/XXXX. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, a negative credit item can remain on a credit report for 7 years FROM THE DATE OF FIRST DELINQUENCY. The first delinquency of this account occurred no later than XX/XX/XXXX. No additional commitments, payments, or communications took place on my behalf during any subsequent time. This creditor continues to report delinquency, collection, and charge-off to this day on Credit Bureau files. Under Section 623 ( a ) ( 5 ) of FCRA : A person who furnishes information to a consumer reporting agency regarding a delinquent account being placed for collection, charged to profit or loss, or subjected to any similar action shall, not later than 90 days after furnishing the information, notify the agency of the date of delinquency on that account, which shall be the month and year of the commencement of delinquency on the account that immediately preceded the action. Therefore, I demand that Ally Financial be held accountable and remove this negative item from all credit reporting, dating back to XX/XX/XXXX. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Consumer Complaint: When I ended my car lease, the car was inspected. It has been determined by Ally that there was excess wear. The charge was for {$180.00} plus {$12.00} sales/use Tax on Maximum Early Excess Mileage and Wear Charge Total of {$190.00}. ( we did not use all of our miles ). First of all, I believe that it is illegal in Indiana to charge sales tax on labor. Secondly, I have disputed the issue of multiple scratches and the bumper cover excess charges. I believe that this is retailitory measure action taken by Ally against the dealer because they have changed financial institutions for their leasing agreements. In addition, I believe that Ally my be attempting to take advantage of unknowlegeable senior citizens. As of XX/XX/2017, I am paying this disputed charge under duress, I do not want them to be able to endanger my credit score, and I hope that this complaint will provide financial reimbusment.
