Consumer Complaint: This is about ALLY FINANCIAL. I paid this auto loan off in full. I received my title and payoff letter. On my credit report the loan was closed out but then days later I noticed a duplicate account made with a balance reported. I called a number of times for a number of days. No one would give me a straight answer and there were times when operators were disconnecting calls. It wasnt until XX/XX/19 when I got a letter stating the balance owed was for a repo charge. I never even had a late payment and like I stated earlier the balance is paid in full. When I would talk to someone, instead of correcting the obvious error, they would just bounce me to another department. I am beyond frustrated at this point and feel that no consumer should have to go through this.

Consumer Complaint: Option was not included in selections. I am having the problem of Ally Financial contacting my parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I have recently taken a severance package from my work. I am not currently working since then and am waiting for my severance pay. I have told them that is what i am waiting for to pay it and that it would be within 2 weeks and they keep calling all of my family multiple times a day every day and have been told to stop calling from my family members.

Consumer Complaint: Several companies and credit card companies have kept old information on my credit report even though it has been well over 7 years since the debt occurred and the accounts were closed. XXXX XXXX Credit Card opened on XX/XX/XXXX has been closed for years but is still showing on my credit report as owing {$1400.00}. XXXX XXXX opened XX/XX/XXXX has been closed for years and still is showing on my credit report as owing {$890.00}. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is showing 9 different accounts on my credit reports and open XX/XX/XXXX and closed over 7 years ago and still showing I owe {$1700.00}. Ally Financial ( unpaid car loan ) was closed over 7 years ago but they keep sending the debt to new collection agencies and thus lowering my credit score and adding negative debt in the amount of {$23000.00}. There is also fraudulent activity on my credit reports and I have filed police reports with the XXXX NC Police Department and charges have been filed against the person responsible for the fraudulent activity and opening of accounts with my personal information.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I opened an online checking account with XXXX ( {$350.00} sign up bonus ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to mobile deposit check # XXXX for {$5000.00} into my XXXX account. The money was debited from my Ally account on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I attempted to mobile deposit check # XXXX for {$5000.00} into my XXXX account. The money was debited from my Ally account on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed that both checks were debited from my Ally Bank account but when I attempted to log in into my XXXX account through my XXXX application ( which I used to mobile deposit both checks ), I received the following error " The account or accounts do not exist in your internet banking provile. Please contact us at XXXX for further assistance. Ref. [ PC8 ] ''. Please note that the phone number provided is for their XXXX customer service, which I did not know until later ( please see below ). On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX, I reached out to XXXX at XXXX to understand what could have happened to my account. I was on the phone for 17 minutes and 20 seconds. The lady on the phone explained that this account was closed due to suspicious activity and that the checks were rejected on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX and would be back into my Ally Bank account within 7 business days.On XX/XX/XXXX ( I decided to wait a little longer due to the holidays, to make sure I would have waited long enough ), I reached out to Ally Bank as the funds were still not credited into my Ally Bank account. When I asked what other steps I could take to find my money, the lady stated the only thing she could do to help me was to give me an image of the checks. I informed her that I had access to this but was at loss and was not sure what to do next. She said that could not help me further since the checks were both paid to XXXX, and that XXXX would be responsible for the funds. The same day, I tried to call XXXX but they were closed for the holiday. On XX/XX/XXXX, I reached out to XXXX at XXXX which was the phone number provided on my XXXX mobile application, thinking it might redirect me to a specific department, more knowledgeable about my situation. I was on the phone for 50 minutes when the lady realized that I was a US customer and did not have a XXXX account. I was then transferred to the US phone number, spent 10 minutes on the phone with a really helpful lady who was willing to do a conference call with Ally Bank. In the process of setting up the conference call, the lady inadvertently hung up on me.I called XXXX again ( at the US customer service number XXXX ), spoke the a gentleman who transferred me to the ACH department who then let me know that this was the wrong department to talk to as my issue was about checks. The lady from the ACH department transferred me to the general customer service, once again. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I got a hold of someone and I explained my situation, for the third time to a lady. She explained that Check # XXXX was never accepted as it was " reported '' as suspicious funds ( which I assumed she meant by Ally bank ), therefore, they automatically rejected check # XXXX for " not sufficient funds ''. We decided to do a conference call with Ally Bank. After a total of two hours of being on the phone, one hour being on the conference call, XXXX stated they could not write a letter stating what happened as my account was closed. Ally Bank sent me an Affidavit of Forgery, Unauthorized draft or Altered item in order to have a dispute started. Ally Bank claims both claims were deposited at " XXXX XXXX '' and " XXXX XXXX '' while XXXX claims they never accepted the checks and rejected the money. They also closed my account on XX/XX/XXXX but I received this letter at a later date. On the statement provided, we can see that no money was deposited from XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. There are trial credits by Ally Bank that are showing since I initially tried to transfer the money electronically to XXXX when I opened this account but it appears the funds were rejected ( Even though the account was confirmed with those trial deposits ). Ally Bank said that the dispute would take 90 to 120 days. The {$10000.00} is all I have in savings. I can not afford to have any emergency happening between those times. It is unacceptable that my money is lost and no one is able to track it.

Because of this, Im requesting information about your procedures put in place to verify this charge-off account. I would like to see a detailed repossession deficiency transaction sale on this account. In addition, please show me the date that you claim that this account was charged - off. Im tracking all documents. I WILL BE SENDING ALL LETTERS TO MY ATTORNEY FOR REVIEW TO SEE IF ANY FURTHER VIOLATIONS HAVE OCCURED. I KNOW YOUR COMPANY VERIFIED THE ABOVE ACCOUNT AS ACCURATE. Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I was a victim of identity theft and 2 cars were taken out in my name by an unknown person/s. The vehicles were taken out by different banks in two different dealerships. When I notified both companies. XXXX XXXX XXXX a.k.a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and Ally Bank a.k.a Ally Financial Services they did nothing to help rectify the credit reporting or clear my name. Then, my credit was check with an unknown company called XXXX , XXXX and my score was a XXXX. I was denied the lease because of this. I never heard of theses people and you don't have to be XXXX to figure out that there is a problem. I contacted the phone number provided on the denial letter for XXXX, had to leave a message and no return call yet. These people should not be allowed to check one 's credit-obviously they are incompetent. Can they be barred from doing so? All my credit scores are well over 800.

Consumer Complaint: I sent my XXXX XXXX XXXX back to the dealer for a factory defect. Ally is aware up until the point of the stalling issue. I did not miss one payment. Ally intern sold the car for more than it was worth. I had no knowledge of the sale until I went to Arbitration court on behalf of XXXX XXXX who sold me the car. I reached out to Ally and asked them to cease all contact with me during XX/XX/2011-present and they have been sending me letters, and also they have submitted my information to a third party who intern calls me repeatedly. I have requested that Ally abide by the statue of limitation. The statute of limitations in Florida is five years for written agreements and four years for oral agreements.The statute of limitations in Florida for an to legally pursue an old dept is five years for written agreements and four years for oral agreements. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, debts can appear on your credit report generally for seven years.The dept can remain on your credit reports for seven years from the release date or 10 years from the date filed. The date it was filed according to my credit report is XX/XX/2011.
