Consumer Complaint: Ally hired XXXX XXXX XXXX to collect on an alleged debt for about {$3300.00}. They advised me they are authorized to collect and I verified this with Ally. I settled the alleged debt in FULL for {$1300.00} on XX/XX/2020. I have the letter from their authorized representative stating this. I have disputed with all three major credit agencies and Ally continues to damage my credit by verifying false information. Here is the quote from their representative : " We are an authorized representative for Ally Financial. This letter is to confirm receipt of your final payment of {$1300.00}, received on XX/XX/2020. Upon clearance of funds, the above-mentioned account will be closed as settlement in full. '' The document I have attached, that the company sent me as proof of payment in full, is protected with the last four of my social security number and can be opened with that 4-digit number.

Consumer Complaint: I signed a lease with Ally for 24 months. I made 24 payments. Last payment made was on XX/XX/2020for the month. So the lease ends onXX/XX/2020. Before lease end, I get in touch with Ally and they were gracious enough to give me a month free. This puts me out to XX/XX/2020. Then I was offered an option to extend my lease up to 5 more months if i wanted. I choose to do 1 more month and that puts XX/XX/2020. This means, I owe one more payment and it will not be due until XXXX. Instead this whole time, my online account reflects issues with my account and shows I owe ally a lot more than I actually do. I get in touch with them through online chat on XX/XX/XXXX and again on XX/XX/XXXX and both time was assured, they will clear it up and its just slow right now due to Covid-19. I take their word for it. I save the chats for reference. Then on XX/XX/XXXX I get a collections call. Now they are calling me to get paid. Get paid the money that i do not owe them. I called them. I was transferred 3 times. The last person kept asking if i could hear them. No one else had issues hearing me, but this person just let me sit there for 5+ mins. while i wanted for her to be able to hear me. Finally she was able to hear. No idea how. The whole time i can hear animals in the background. I think she was at some kind of a farm ( irrelevant, but wanted to mention it ). She got back on the call and without helping ... just said I am transferring you to collections and just transferred me. The music played for 5+ mins without me being transferred and finally I hung up. My account is still in limbo. I am afraid these guys are going to send this to collections and thats the last thing i wanted to do.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is in regards to harassing phone calls that i have been receiving from Ally Financial in regards to an auto loan that i currently have with this company. I been starting to have issues beginning with XXXX of last year. I had fell slightly behind with my auto loan in XXXX because I had a financial emergency. I have called Ally and explained what was going on and how i will be addressing the situation. However this company continues to call my phone repeatedly multiple times a day and leaves multiple messages a day and even got to the point of calling family members. I have called them on a few occasions to let them know that i do not want them calling my phone multiple times a day and not calling my family members at all. They have not to my knowledge called anymore of my family however they are sending text and repeatedly calling my phone.

Consumer Complaint: Ally Financial has not reported to the credit bureaus since XXXX of 2019. I have requested them to report my on time payments as well as the new balance on the account and they have failed to do so. The reported balance is {$5500.00}, the actual balance is {$3800.00}. I called and they told me their policy is their investigation into why it is not reporting will take more than 45 days. I explained this is illegal and they did not care.

Consumer Complaint: Car crash on XX/XX/20 My insurance totaled vehicle and paid Ally what the cars market value was. They have made delinquency and late payments. They have not responded myself, call me back when leaving messages or ever answering and giving the paper work needed by my insurer for months. I have been negatively affected by Ally and this is not ethical to make me and my credit suffer. My comany Insurance has gap. Ally has been reluctant to speak and resolve this and allow my insurance company to pay the remaining balance of what is owed. They have not reported to any Credit reporting agency the vue of payments made. They have made false reports on their own recongnisense.
