Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Reporting company used your report improperly
Consumer Complaint: I did not authorize a credit pull from this company ( I've never even heard of this company ) and they're reporting an artificially low credit score by over 250 points lower than the reputable credit reporting agencies. One of the denial reasons for this report was " Distance between address and area code of phone '', while my address is exclusively within the boundaries of the area code that I carry. When attempting to access my report and subsequently freeze, the company is requesting copies of drivers ' license and social security card, which I will NOT provide to them, as they seem like an illegitimate company that was utilized by Ally for improper credit denial.

Issue: Problems at the end of the loan or lease
Subissue: Problem with paying off the loan
Consumer Complaint: Hi. Last year in paid off my car loan with the payoff amount in the amount of {$18000.00} on XXXX XXXX, XXXX that Ally Financial provided for me. I paid the amount and it showed a XXXX balance and that the title was on its way and I didn't owe anything. I've waited at least a week to confirm that I didn't owe anything, just to make sure. On XX/XX/XXXX it showed that I still didn't owe anything and that final payment was received, title was processing and released, and then the processing was complete. Several weeks later, Ally Financial made " reversal '' of a monthly payment I had made in XXXX and it didn't go into my card or checking account. The reason it showed on their website was " Migration. '' So then it showed that I owed {$510.00} and that it was due until XX/XX/XXXX. I called them several times and they said they didn't know why that reversal was created but it was money that I owed. I asked them what checking account or card the money went to and they couldn't provide that information. I paid about {$140.00} of that amount because they threaten to hurting my credit and they would investigate the matter and get back to me. I've called every 2 weeks to get an answer of why the reversal when I have a picture of the account showing a XXXX balance due. They asked me to email it to them and when I tried, I kept getting errors not allowing me to upload pictures " at this time '' because of system maintenance. But you can send emails but no attachment. Now it affected my credit because I never finished paying that amount that was reversed about a month after I paid off the loan. And they still can't tell me why it was reverse. They just tell me that their system was going thru changes around XXXX XXXX so they can't access all the information they need so they can tell me. Any help is greatly appreciated Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: On Wednesday XX/XX/2020, I received a call from Ally Financial Post Bankruptcy Department. I indicated to them that i need and wanted to keep the vehicle and resume making regular monthly payments ( {$670.00} Per Month ) They indicated to me that i would have to make payments of {$1100.00} for the next 4 months and then the payments would resume back to there regular monthly payments or they would repossess the vehicle. Due to COVID-19 we have been on unemployment and with the extra unemployment benefit that expired i am unable to afford {$1100.00} a month with a weeks notice or a threat of repossession. I return to work on XX/XX/2020 and i am behind on all bills, Not just Ally Financial? Ally Auto graciously did a forbearance, But if you did not have the money during the forbearance, How would you have all the money at the end of the forbearance? Also, This vehicle is vital for us to get to and from our jobs starting back up on XXXX after being on unemployment for month 's due to COVID-19 and no fault of our own.

Consumer Complaint: I had a XXXX XXXX with Ally back in XX/XX/2019. At the time of the purchase the finance director tricked and deceived me by adding a lot of aftermarket insurance that never needed, wanted or asked for. When I realized that after 2 months I called XXXX and canceled everything. The process took so long, eventually the car got totalled. Between what I paid, what my insurance company paid and all the aftermarket cancellations Ally was overpaid by {$2700.00}. They only sent me {$220.00}. I have been trying to contact them for the pass 6 months, all I am getting is a turn around. I sent 2 certified letters in XXXX, I sent several emails, between XXXX and XXXX, I talked to several people during the same period, I always get the same answer " a manager will call you back ''. Nobody ever bothered to contact me. I am going through a rough time right now, I lost one my job, I can use that money to pay some outstanding bills. Attached are copies of all the transactions, letter I sent to Ally on XX/XX/XXXX and emails between Ally employee and I. Eventhough, she promised to follow up, she never did and she stopped talking to me after my last email asking her about my follow up. They know it will be hard to sue them because they are out of state. Please help. XXXX XXXX
