Consumer Complaint: Hello my name is XXXX XXXX I am very disappointed and frustrated with the service of the ally bank customer service. I opened a new money market account with XXXX check deposit that I received from my grandmother and opened a checking account as well so I can use that as a everyday operations account but when I called to get my XXXX account unrestricted my account was locked and under investigation. I wanted to transfer funds in order to order a new debit card for my accounts. I spoke to a fraud detection specialist about taking the restriction off my XXXX account so I could fund my checking account from an external bank account in order to get a debit card mailed to me at which point the specialist asked me numerous questions regarding my check deposit that has already been verified from the sending bank and deposited into my account. This check is legitimate and has already cleared from my grandmothers account and into my account. Please I need access to these funds as I am unemployed at the moment and this was emergency funds.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/, a little before XXXX XXXX I used Ally Bank 's online check deposit feature to deposit a {$2000.00} check from the US Treasury. Despite beating the cutoff time, I noticed there was no actual details of when the check would post. Later that night, the site was updated to indicate an extended hold of five days was placed on it. The only reason given was " inconsistent information on the check '' ( what?! ) I am familiar with the reasons that an extended hold can be placed on government checks - none apply in this case. I've never been overdrawn. It wasn't over the large check threshold. There is no reasonable doubt that this check will be paid ( it's a GOVERNMENT CHECK ). It seems they are actually probably just annoyed that my balance is far lower than the value of a check, and made up a reason to hold it. They refused to remove the hold when I asked. Now {$2000.00} is in limbo. I've been waiting five months for this check.

They were really nice and took me to online consulting with RN, they guarantee my problem will works with promotion deal. They told me price and payment plan, she said she will transfer dep for payment plan. Ally went through for payment plan, they promised I can cancel anytime if Im not satisfy treatment then stop pay right away. My XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and Dr told me I have to purchase this and that,,,, I wasnt comfortable they are start selling things and asking more treatment. My XXXX not getting better so I stopped after XXXX session, then I told them Id like to cancel service anymore because Im not happy getting worse. So I asked them same time I dont need to make a payment they said yes. After few month I receive payment still I was ignore I though they might not process yet But kept going so I contact XXXX XXXX then they said call ally, I called ally explained, first time they said they will look for whats problem. It wasnt helpful. I called again after month and complained. Lady was really nice to see more detail and filed complain. Then I got this collection. When I cancel they didnt tell me any of detail I still going to make a payment and how much. I dont receive any email or later for cancellation and price will be changed. XXXX XXXX lady told me we could offer credit for any other treatment, but when I called them to cancel no one offered me she said Im so sorry. They said on the phone processed cancellation. I complained XXXX because there are no communication whats so ever from ally besides asking me to pay, no communication from XXXX XXXX. Very very disappointed.

Despite my repeated attempts to dispute these matters, the companies persist in reporting the accounts with late payments. XXXX XXXX promptly updated the XXXX month, but unfortunately reported the month of XXXX as late. Although the account was settled in XXXX, they still persist in reporting it as late.
