Issue: Incorrect information on your report

Subissue: Account status incorrect

Consumer Complaint: I attended XXXX in XXXX XXXX that was on XXXX XXXX. The school guaranteed employment placement assistance as part of their package. The school was accused of fraud and closed. I did not receive the services I paid for. I struggled to find employment and was unable to pay my student loans. I am currently not employed. When I went to apply for credit I found that they are not only incorrectly reporting my accounts but they have duplicated them.I have 3 student loans. I have 3 accounts showing XXXX balance and paid. I also have 3 accounts showing as being in collections. None of the accounts are accurate. I never heard from them so I called them last year and in XXXX of this year I began to make monthly payments to them. I have been making payments since then every single month.

Consumer Complaint: I have about 11 accounts XXXX with 3 late payments on each for XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. I called and deferred these loans several times, and was told each time that the late payments would be deleted since they were deferred. On top of that, they referenced a form they would mail in regards to this, but was never received. Now I have 3 late payments across 11 or so different loans and it has significant damaged my credit, all because XXXX XXXX did not due as they stated through phone conversation.

My Standard Repayment Plan contract stated 120 equal/fixed monthly payments of {$1000.00}, which I paid uninterrupted, timely, in full every month from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. In retaliation for my 15-month-long credit disputes, XXXX reported to CRAs, 30 XX/XX/XXXX credit reports : ( i ) I made no payments : XX/XX/XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX ; ( ii ) both underpaid-and-overpaid in XX/XX/XXXX ( =XXXX willful misallocation of payments to fraudulently/in extortion engineer default of some loans ) ; and ( iii ) made no payment XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. Consumer Complaint: OnXX/XX/2018 I submitted disputes for validation of student loan information being reported incorrectly to all 3 Credit reporting agencies, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I also reached out to the various reporting companies listed on the credit agencies reports. All the information from the Credit Bureaus differ and after the inquiries of dispute for validation, XXXX and XXXX have claim to have found the information reporting to be valid and almost tripled the amount owed/balance reporting. They are also reporting some balances as paid {$0.00} balance. I have been on an income driven base payment plan which I have paid every for the past 9 months. As of XX/XX/2018 I have been considered successful and the loans I receive a letter that the loans are now returned the PHEAA. Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX is trying not to give me credit for PSLF payments I made to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I made payments on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX XXXX to repay my student loans. XXXX XXXX asserts that I had no bills due during the above-mentioned periods. However, I received emails from XXXX XXXX advising me that my bill was due for those periods. I was set up for automatic payments and so my bills for these periods were paid automatically from my checking account. I've attached the emails sent to me by XXXX XXXX showing my billing statement was available and that the payments would be automatically withdrawn from my account. I've also attached a payment printout from XXXX XXXX that shows that payments were made on the above-mentioned dates. If no payments were due, then XXXX XXXX should not have sent me billing statements and withdrawn money from my bank account.

Issue: Dealing with your lender or servicer

Subissue: Keep getting calls about your loan

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2016, my child support raised to a point I could not support myself any longer on my wage. I was in fact XXXX and struggled. I requested IBR for my loans. I sent in the application and gave them access to my IRS XXXX. They were " processing '' it for 3 months, in which I called and emailed several times to see the status. The agents only stated it was pending, but then I was sent a letter my application was cancelled by the lender. I put my loans in forbearance to send in a new application, as that was " all they could do ''. they stated I would have to make a {$5.00} standard repayment to move from Forbearance to the IBR once approved, however I received the billing statement to make this payment 4 days after I received a notice stating since I hadn't made the payment, that my loans were on standard repayment and the IBR was cancelled a second time by the lender. I then filed a complaint with the MN Attorney General. They followed up with the lender, who stated all these things were my fault and I owed a grossly overstated sum of money. As of today, I received a negligent email that they were going to affect my credit, when in fact I should have a $ XXXX monthly payment based on a wage of less than $ 40k a year and a household size of XXXX. Then i received a call from the lender 's collections person at work. I told her I can't take these calls at work, but she stated she couldn't control when they occurred. I used to work in collections and know that this is wholly against the FDCPA rules. I mentioned that to her, and she laughed at me, thus the reason for this complaint.

Subissue: Received bad information about your loan

Consumer Complaint: I have been trying recertify with XXXX since XXXX. Last year I had asked to be placed into forbearance when I could not afford payment until XXXX until after I filed my taxes " married but filing separate ''. XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted my initial application to recertify after my forbearance ended. I called to make sure it was received and the gentleman I spoke with said yes and it should be around $ XXXX/month. XX/XX/XXXX comes around and then I get a letter I was denied because I did not make a " intermittent '' payment. The gentleman I spoke with initially in XXXX did not mention this. I would have been more than happy to make an affordable payment. I am now told to recertify again. I ask that it be expected due to the company error. They state they will do what they can so I send in my information again. I am now placed into the wrong plan and an even higher payment I started with. They ask me to recertify again. I have do it again- this time they say they did not get it and I am placed into standard plan and I selected that. Even though when I log in it shows that I selected income plan and I have a screenshot stating this. Also, I received an email and I have a screenshot from the company that I am now in " grace period '' until XX/XX/XXXX. Last I checked we are in XXXX!!!! This company is a fraud and does not know what they are doing. I am contacting a lawyer.
