Consumer Complaint: It appears that my credit file has been compromised. Again, I was going through my records & noticed many information, accounts, or items which do not belong to me. Since Im a stickler for research, I found that under section 605b of the FCRA the 3 credit bureaus are required by law to remove & block any accounts or information which is found to be opened due to identity theft. The dispute items do not belong to me. Im attaching the required FTC Report for you and the bank 's records ( learned through more research both parties require ). Please remove these files. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Balance : {$0.00} ; XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Balance : {$0.00} ; XXXX XXXX XXXX Balance : {$0.00} ; XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Bankruptcy XXXX XXXX Reference # : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Bankruptcy XXXX XXXXReference # : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX bankruptcydismissed Reference # XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Reference # : XXXX ; If the credit bureaus feel there is a possibility these items belong to me I will require all documentation that bears my signature ( another research item I found that requires you to verify with 100 % accuracy that each item is 100 % true, accurate, correct, complete & VERIFIABLE ). If the credit bureaus do not provide any records & claim the item is verified please understand I will seek legal action. I do not take kindly to games nor does my attorney. SO please comply with the law so this matter can be handled swiftly.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2022, I contacted the courthouse asking do the report bankruptcies to the credit bureaus and I got multiple communication that stating, They do not report any bankruptcies to anyone or any agencies. So, if thats the case, how did the credit bureaus edify my bankruptcy as 100 % accurate. They never did a fair investigation according to the USC 1681. 15 USC 1681 section 603 ( 3 ) ( E ) states ; The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode living is obtained through personal interviews, with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumers reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer. They also violated my rights numerous times. The credit bureaus violated my given right under USC 1681. According to : 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have a right to privacy. According to : 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A section 2 : It also states that a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without written instructions. According to : 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to reporting agency if the person knows or has a reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.

Consumer Complaint: Lexis Nexis has written to me informing me that they are unable to authenticate my information and can not remove inaccurate reported XXXX. They have received all of my information and maintained it on file. ( Please see attachments ) On XX/XX/XXXX, I opted out of their data sharing of public facing records and on XX/XX/XXXX, I suppressed my information. On XX/XX/XXXX, I had a security freeze placed on my records and XX/XX/XXXX, I opted out again from Identity theft. The request were made prior to the bankrupcy reporting. The bankruptcy was reported to the agencies in XXXX of 2022. This Lexis Nexis as an organization has been sued for violating consumer rights and continuing to provide information that is inaccurate. They are not in compliance with the FCRA. Their inaccuracy in reporting a bankruptcy that never took place has damaged me and inhibited me from getting credit. I have written to them multiple times and opted out of their data sharing of my personal information with third party agencies. When you opt out, you are requesting to not have personal information sold to a third party, they continue to report this inaccurate information. The Bankruptcy Courts have informed me that they do NOT provide any information to credit reporting agencies, nor do they ever validate and/or confirm public records. It is the credit reporting agencies, and/or other THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS who collect information regarding public cases from public records. Public records information is NEVER validated by the Recorder of Deeds nor the U.S. Court system due to the Fair Credit Reporting Agency PRIVACY LAW. Per Federal Credit Reporting ace, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( a ), a corporation is required by federal las to verify through physical verification of original signed consumer documents, contracts or judgments all accounts and public information that you post on anyone 's credit report. My inquiry to the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts confirmed LexisNexis has never validated or verified these public record entries on my credit report. They further stated while they are NOT liable or responsible for any MISUSE or INCORRECT public records, nor the distribution of said information, public records may, and oftentimes are, reported by third party sources unaware to the consumer, and in most cases, incorrectly. Considering the information indicating a Fair Credit Reporting Act violation, I am demanding all bankruptcy information currently showing under my social security number to be PERMANENTLY DELETED from my credit report immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I was denied the best insurance rate by XXXX which relied on a report from LexisNexis. I contacted LexisNexis and requested a copy of my consumer report and referenced the inquiry from XXXX as the reason for my inquiry. After some time, LexisNexis wrote me informing me they could not authenticate my identity which is strange given they did so to XXXX. Thereafter, I completed another request for my file online. This time LexisNexis sent me an email asking to click on a link in order to verify my email address ... .however the link they sent does not work and returns a message that an error occured ... .once again quite strange. Clearly, LexisNexis is making it difficult, if not impossible, for me to access my file by claiming they can not authenticate me and then sending a broken link. It is very unfortunate and illegal for them to behave in this manner. Simply, send me a copy of my file as per the law and stop placing undue burdens in the path of the consumer.

Consumer Complaint: I XXXX XXXX am requesting the method of verification of that Lexis Nexis used to verify bankruptcy case number XXXX. I have contacted XXXX and they, just as the US Bankruptcy courts state that they DO NOT provide verification of any court cases. The personal information on said case number DOES NOT match my personal information, yet Lexis Nexis continues to verify the erroneous information. Also, according to Lexis Nexis records and their response to my previous complaint CFPB CASE # XXXX, I contacted the LexisNexis Consumer Center directly on XX/XX/XXXX to dispute a bankruptcy record and request that a security freeze be placed on his Lexis Nexis file. This information is completely erroneous because the above mentioned case number was filed in XXXX of XXXX as stated by XXXX. LexisNexis has also stated that the bankruptcy investigation was resolved on XX/XX/XXXX, but again this is impossible because there was no case filed on or before said date. Again, according to 602. Congressional findings and statement of purpose [ 15 U.S.C. 1681 ] ( a ) Accuracy and fairness of credit reporting. The XXXX makes the following findings : ( 4 ) There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. XXXX also states that I, XXXX XXXX, must give written permission to Lexis Nexis to access, sell and/or distribute my public information : 604. Permissible purposes of consumer reports [ 15 U.S.C. 1681b ] ( a ) In general. Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. I have not, in fact, given Lexis Nexis written instructions to report this information according to the law above. By reporting said information Lexis Nexis is in violation of section 604 by asserting this false and erroneous report. A report of a bankruptcy is an infringement of my right to privacy and such reporting is a direct violation to the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 U.S.C. 1681 ( a ) ( 4 ) a consumers right to privacy. Under the FCRA, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, have the right to request a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of disputed information, including the business name and address, and telephone number if reasonably available, of any furnisher of information contacted. As of XX/XX/XXXX I have requested the description of procedure used to determine accuracy and completeness of disputed information, including the business name and address, and telephone number if reasonably available, of any furnisher of information contacted.
